My Experience with Shiseido Glow Enhancing Primer:

The packaging of Shiseido is very attractive to say the least. The whole packaging is not only inviting but also very practical. The primer comes in a muted silver colored tube with a screw-on black cap. It looks simple and classy at the same time. The details about the product, including the ingredients, are mentioned on the outer paper carton.

The texture of the primer is unlike the silicone based primers. It does not create a layer on the skin which is sometimes an uncomfortable feeling to deal with. This is more like a lotion which, when applied on the skin, gets absorbed almost immediately without leaving any residue on the skin. Due to the thin texture, only a wee bit of the product is required for the full face. There is a very faint cosmetic fragrance to it. The primer comes with SPF 15 which is an added bonus.

Coming to the performance of the primer, I have to admit this is the best primer I have used till date. It hydrates the skin, it gives protection, it holds the makeup long and fresh, and it actually enhances the glow. Considering the current weather conditions, it does not feel heavy or greasy on the skin; on the contrary, the skin looks and feels healthy. Also, this primer has never broken me out. Other than the price tag, I have nothing to say against the primer. It definitely joins the gang of hits from Shiseido.
