TRESemme Thermal Creations Volumizing Mousse

Hey Everyone, This is my first review of this year.  Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a wonderful New Year’s party with family and friends. What are some of your New Year’s resolutions, if you have made any? I’m very interested in hearing the answers! :haanji:

Anyway, let’s move on to the product I am reviewing for you today. The product is the TRESemme Thermal Creations Volumizing Mousse.

TRESemme+Thermal+Creations+Volumizing+Mousse TRESemme Thermal Creations Volumizing Mousse

This mousse claims to volumize your hair if used with heat. For example, you take some of that mousse and massage it into the roots of your hair and blow dry it. I like to use some mousse on the crown of my head and straighten my hair the opposite way than my hair is growing out of the root, like straightening your hair upwards and that helps it look volumized.

The mousse is white as seen in the picture above.  It smells really good.  When I used it to volumize my hair the other day, I felt like it didn’t really do anything. I straightened my hair that day and was trying to get a nice bump on the crown of my head. I’m not sure why it didn’t do anything, but one reason I can think of is that my hair was one day old (which means that I hadn’t washed my hair for a day).  That’s why, I washed my hair and then used it again, and it worked amazingly. It didn’t look crunchy and didn’t feel sticky at all.

Price:
The price is around 4$ and you can find it at Wal-Mart or Target.

Product Instructions:
Shake can and dispense 2-3 egg-sized dollops on damp hair (you need more than you think you will need). To fully coat the hair, dispense mousse directly on a vented brush. Then, run the brush from roots to ends to saturate hair. For maximum body, blow dry upside down with a rounded brush, pulling away from the roots and crown (where hair tends to pancake most). For added protection from heat styling damage, spray TRESemme Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Spray before using any heat styling tools. Always read and refer to product packaging, directions, and inserts before use.

TRESemme TRESemme Thermal Creations Volumizing Mousse

Pros of TRESemme Thermal Creations Volumizing Mousse:

  • Volumize your hair if used with heat.
  • Smells amazing.
  • Doesn’t feel sticky on hair.
  • Doesn’t make your hair look dull and shineless.
  • Really cheap.

Pros of TRESemme Thermal Creations Volumizing Mousse:

  • Might not work very well with hair that has not been washed the same day.

Last Word on Pros of TRESemme Thermal Creations Volumizing Mousse:

This product is very interesting. I have used mousse before but for my curly hair.  It claims to pump up your hair by working with heat and that is true. If it doesn’t work very well for you, you might want to wash your hair.  Anyway, I hope this helped some to realize that there are products out there that help you get volumized hair.

Take care xoxo!

Hi Sahar,
That’s a nice review. I am using the Tresemme Heat Protectant spray. Its pretty decent. One thing I don’t like is that it makes my hair oily. I usually wash my hair skipping 2 days in between. Whenever I use the heat protectant it makes my hair look extra oily. But it just gives that satisfaction of not damaging your hair. So I am ok with it. Mine is straight hair with little curls at the end. Kind of a messy hair with not much volume to it. So volumizing mousse sounds like its for me. You are saying that its not oily as well, so I will try it. :pigtail: :pigtail:

Thanks vikki. I spray it 4 times and comb my hair to spread it out evenly. Do you think it might be too much? I’ll reduce next time and see..
