Happy New Year to you all. What are your resolutions? I don’t believe in resolutions, but my elder sister wants to treat her sagging skin. Is loose, sagging skin your concern too? If it is, I am sure these home remedies will help you achieve your skin-goals. 🙂
Cucumber is one of the best toners for skin. It can tighten your skin, preventing sagging skin. Just peel a cucumber, cut it into half and blend it well in a grinder. Strain the juice through the strainer and then apply this juice all over your face. Leave this juice on for 10-20 minutes, or until it gets dried. Once dried, you can wash off your face with cold water.
2. Egg White Mask
Egg white works wonders for skin if coupled with any of the essential oils. Generally, thyme oil is used with egg white to tighten your skin. Egg white helps to stimulate the production of collagen over skin while thyme oil helps to hydrate. If you are using any other essential oil, it would benefit you with its particular quality too. Separate one egg white, add 3-4 drops of thyme oil and blend them all together. Apply this mask and wash off once it gets dry.
3. Honey and Olive Oil
Due to natural hydrating and anti-ageing properties, honey can help to prevent sagging of your skin. Take 2 spoons of honey in a bowl and add 5-6 drops of lemon and 1 spoon of olive oil. Mix all the three ingredients together and apply on your face. Wash off with warm water. Welcome radiant and tight skin.
4. Banana Face Pack
Banana has anti-ageing properties that help to give you a younger looking skin. Mash some banana with the help of a fork and add a pinch of turmeric, 1 spoon of honey and 1 spoon of olive oil to it. Mix the ingredients together and apply to your face. Wash off with warm water once dried.
5. Cinnamon Powder
Cinnamon powder contains anti-ageing properties too, hence it can be used to treat your saggy skin. Grind some cinnamon powder and mix with few drops of honey. Now apply this paste on your face and allow it to dry. Honey does not dry, so you need to wait for 15-20 minutes. Wash off with plain water.
6. Olive Oil
Give an oil massage to your face by using olive oil. Olive oil contains Vitamin A and E which help to render anti-ageing benefits. Take a small portion of olive oil in a bowl and warm it up a bit. Now massage your face with olive oil using your fingertips in circular motion for 10 minutes. Continue doing this every day for best results. Follow this remedy everyday before going to sleep.
7. Rose Water
Rose water is a great toner and also helps to tighten your skin. It also benefits by giving healthy and glowing skin. Apply some rose water on your face and neck before going to bed. This will help to tighten the pores and will also prevent the signs of ageing. Do not wipe the rose water off, just spray it and let it air-dry.
Make a paste of turmeric and milk together and apply this mask on your face. Allow the paste to dry and then wash it off with cold water. If not milk, you can also make a paste of water and turmeric. Turmeric helps to regain the elasticity.
Mash two to three ripe strawberries and mix them with two teaspoons each of yogurt and honey.
Make a paste of these and apply the paste on your face and neck. Leave the paste on for about five minutes and then rinse it off with lukewarm water. It is important to follow this remedy daily.
10. Tomato Juice
Squeeze some tomato juice and then apply on your face. Massage your face with this juice for 10 minutes and wash off with cold water. Tomato juice will help you tighten the saggy skin while ensuring reduction in pores. It will also brighten up your complexion.
