Hi ladies,
Applying makeup is fun. All have their own way of applying makeup products. Let’s talk about one other way which is doing the makeup in backward steps. In this, you apply the basic makeup products in reverse!
1. Apply concealer before foundation
In reverse makeup technique, you apply concealer first to cover all areas that are prone to discolouration like area under the eyes, around the nose and mouth or any blemishes. And then you lightly dab and blend your foundation for more coverage and natural look. This way your face gets the naturally flawless look minus and cakey feel of foundation.
2. Apply mascara first
You can apply a single coat of mascara to open your eyes and base your makeup around them after you have primed your skin. You can apply the second coat of mascara after your makeup is finished for giving more definition to the eyes.
3. Apply lip liner after lipstick
Some women feel it is easier to line the lips first and then apply lipstick but when you are doing your makeup in the reverse gear, then you apply lipstick first! This helps to contain the colour and also avoid any harsh or unnatural looking lines.
4. Apply eyeliner starting at the outer corner
In this, you need to line the outer corner of the lower lash line first and extend slightly beyond the corner of the eye. This helps to create the perfect angle for your eyeliner and also helps to enhance the natural shape of your eyes.
5. Fill in brows from the outside in
You need to work your way outside in while filling your brows. Then brush your brows back into place to create a natural shape and to achieve a natural finish.
