9 Crucial Factors You Must Consider if You’re Experiencing Hair Loss

Greetings everyone,

There are many reasons that lead to hair fall or hair loss. If you have not changed any of your hair products and still suffering from hair fall, then let us take a look at below-mentioned points.

You are not washing your hair regularly

Should we wash our hair often or not? Let me solve this issue for you. If you are not washing your hair, thinking that it will cause more hair fall, then you are probably wrong. On the other hand, if you are washing your hair daily, then you are making it dry. However, these conditions can be different for different people. It is absolutely alright to wash your hair every alternate day. Remember that an unclean and dirty scalp leads to infections, which might lead to hair fall or hair loss.

You are keeping your hair tied all the time

Keeping your hair tied in a tight ponytail or a tight bun is very harmful for your hair follicles. However, if you keep your hair tied all the time then the elastic band causes harm to your hair follicles. Do not use rubber to tie your hair, use some soft fabric instead. Alternatively, let your hair down every once in a while to keep it healthy.

You are brushing wet hair

Many of you brush wet hair in a hurry not knowing how much harm it causes to your hair. When your hair is wet, it is very delicate and prone to more breakage. If you cannot wait for hair to dry, then at least do not brush your hair roughly. Take a wide toothed comb and be gentle with your hair.

You are using too much hair products

Are you using a setting spray, mousse, hair spray etc. daily? When you use a lot of hair products daily, then the chemicals present in them weaken your hair. Try to reduce the usage of harsh chemicals on your hair. In addition to this, do not expose your hair frequently to any chemical treatments.

You are styling wet hair with hot tools

Styling your hair when it’s wet is a very bad idea. No matter how much hurry you are in or how much you want to do a style on wet hair, say no to this. It tends to make hair brittle and leads to more breakage.

Too much blow drying

As we know, the excess of anything is bad and the same goes for blow drying. If you are exposing your hair to too much heat all the time your hair will become weak and break more. If you really have to dry your hair, opt for the cold setting of your dryer.

You are not eating right

Having a balanced diet helps to keep your hair healthy. If you are not having enough iron or protein in your diet, you will suffer hair loss. Include the good sources of protein, like lentils, eggs, fish, leafy vegetable, nuts, beans etc., in your diet. You can also take protein and iron supplements, but I’d recommend taking them naturally.

You are not massaging your hair at all

If you think natural oils are not for your hair then give them a chance. Lack of hair oils lead to extra damage. Oils like almond, coconut, amla, jojoba, and canola help in strengthening of hair follicles and reverse damage. Even if you have an oily scalp, you should massage with an oil twice a month.

You are stressing out

Stress is also a reason behind hair loss. If you are stressing out too much then try to relax. You can either go to a spa, pamper yourself, hit the gym or even can indulge in your hobby. Just try to get away from all the stress and you will notice a reduction in your hair fall.
