Hi Everyone, 🙂 I am reviewing two more products from the makeup look I created yesterday. Every time I wear this lipstick, people ask me about it, so I thought I’d review it real quick for you all since I myself am totally hooked on to it. 🙂

Anastasia Liquid Lipstick Dusty Rose Review (Price :USD 20/ Rs 1300 approx) These lipsticks can be purchased online. And if you are living abroad, your Sephora might have these. I am not in much of a liquid lipstick phase. I am seriously bored with them now. I love using my classic lipsticks now. But, I could not resist picking up this shade. It true to its name. Dusty rose. It has a little warm mauve undertone to it, that makes it really ideal for people with olive skin tone especially. It comes packed in this clear tube packaging with doe foot applicator. The color goes on evenly and smoothly on lips. The formula is creamy and gives you enough time to fix your lipstick application. Once it sets, it sets for all day long. I have been wearing this lipstick quite a lot because it’s like a perfect MLBB shade. And I haven’t faced any flakiness with this one. The color is 100% opaque. It is a little drying, the way all liquid lipsticks are but makes for quite a comfortable wear. You have to reapply the lipstick after having a full meal but no problems of it transferring or budging with regular drinks and snacks. It does accentuate fine lines, if your lips are flaky or dry. It does not have any weird scent or taste to it. It does not smudge or feather. I’d call it a standard liquid lipstick. I love when companies do a basic product but put their best foot forward. This is what this lipstick is. No frills and fancy but a bang on product. It is available in 32 shades. If you are a liquid lipstick lover, I’d say definitely stock up on these ones.  And this is definitely a much nicer formula than Kylie Liquid Lipstick. Rating : 5/5 Some close shades would be Kylie Posie K, Kat Von D Lolita, Chambor 402

Cover FX Clear Cover Invisible Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Review (Price USD45/INR 3,000 approx ) Cover FX is available in Sephora India and all Sephoras across the world. This is one very interesting product. Cover Fx really comes up with unique products. I guess they sell so much because of that, despite of their high price. This is a sunscreen cum primer. It is an absolutely clear / invisble sunscreen, that you can use every single day on its own. It goes on invisble on the skin. The texture is like an light gel, that spreads on the skin easily and gets absorbed within seconds. Does not leave any whitecast behind. Has never broken me out. Feels like nothing on the skin. Does not make you sweaty. It is probably one of the most lightweight product I have in my kit. It leaves skin smooth. It has a very silicone feel to it. You really cannot feel or see anything on the skin after you apply it. But I’d say it is more of a makeup product..atleast for me. For me it is a gorgeous silicone based primer. I’d say it is my Holy Grail primer at the moment. As I mentioned, it gives that slippery smooth silicone feel to the skin. So your foundation literally glides on the skin. I have tried taking pics with flash using this and it does not have a flash back, but still if you are doing an evening makeup, you would not want to wear a primer with SPF underneath. It is absolutely great for day time makeup, every day wear, since you’d get the benefit of both sunscreen and primer. The main ingredients are all used in suncreens and give protection from UVA and UVB rays of the sun. I mean it’s not the sunscreen you’d want to wear on the beach, unless you need a very light protection from the skin. But it is an excellent every day sunscreen that can really prevent you from all the nastiness of the regular sunscreens. And this definitely makes your makeup last so much longer. Also, since it neither feels oily or dry, it should work just fine for all skin types. I would call it more of a smoothening primer. It literally prepares your face for a smooth foundation application and helps your makeup to look flawless.

The con of this sunscreen is that, one of the main ingredient is dimethicone, which is a silicone based polymer. Silicones can be really nasty for some people – can cause breakouts, increase the apprearence of blackheads etc. But I have absoutely no issues with this product. It is dimethicone that gives that smooth effect to this sunscreen. That is why I prefer to use it more as a makeup product than as an everyday sunscreen.  I personally would always purchase this because it really helps in making my makeup look so much better and esp in photographs. I have listed both pros and cons for you to help you decide. 🙂 Rating : 4/5 Have used it HERE and HERE.

  1. It’s a lovely shade and a beautiful daily wear colour. If it makes lips dry, I may not be able to Use it often, but will definitely try!

  2. This shade is just so perfect on you! Very becoming! And again – That look is stunning Gurrrl!

That CoverFx primer looks like a winner. I’ll definitely check it out at Sephora. Thanks for the head’s up!
