Today’s review is about Artdeco Senses Asian Spa Pure Care Shower Oil. Artdeco is a German brand and I have tried a few makeup products from them and was satisfied. I wanted to give body care products a try and hence, purchased a few. Here is the first review.
Product Description:
The delicately foaming shower oil gently cleanses and leaves the skin feeling extra smooth. The paraben-free oil texture mixes with water to create a soft foam. Precious extracts of white lotus and rice milk protect the skin and envelop you in a fine, pleasant scent Suitable for all skin types.
Apply 1-2 squeezes of shower oil to your damp palms and lather until a light, delicate foam appears. Apply the foam to your damp skin and massage it in gently. Then rinse off thoroughly.

My Experience with Artdeco Senses Asian Spa Pure Care Shower Oil:
Art deco has a range of product line called “Senses Asian Spa”. Today’s review will be about a shower oil.
The product comes in a blue colored packaging with grey pump dispenser. There is a beautiful sketch of lotus on the packaging. The dispenser can be opened and closed by twisting. It does close well and open too. But, there is a common problem with such twist dispensers. I have had experiences where the dispenser gets twisted due to other items in the baggage while travelling and then, finally leaks. So, I would say it’s not travel-friendly.
The shower oil is transparent in colour and is not very thick in consistency. The look and feel is like oil. The fragrance is not at all that great. Since the product contains a lot of oils, the fragrance is also that of oil. To me, it smells more like castor oil. Not many may prefer the fragrance, so make sure to smell it before you purchase. The fragrance is not over powering or does it last long. One can smell it only when using it and it disappears once it is washed off with water.
I apply the shower oil on damp skin. Since it is oil based, it does not froth at all. If you are not used to or do not prefer non lathering products, then this is not for you. Since it does not lather, I use atleast 6 to 7 pumps to shower once. Due to this, the product might not last long.
The shower oil does the cleaning job very well. My skin felt extremely clean after using this shower oil. The skin also feels very supple and moisturised. There is absolutely no dry skin feeling after use. This feels like a boon to dry skin people. I have dry skin especially during winters and my skin is doing great now, as I am using this shower oil.
Overall, it’s a perfect oil based body wash for dry skinned people. I would recommend it to all skin types, but especially to dry skin.

- Slightly expensive for a shower oil.
- Mild but castor oil fragrance.
- Hardly lathers.
- Tend to use more since it does not lather.
