Night is the best time to treat your skin. As you sleep, your skin undergoes repair and regeneration. As much as you try commercial night creams, you can’t deny the fact that they contain chemicals, and your skin might like something milder yet effective. Today, I will tell you about some easy DIY night creams which will soothe, nourish and repair your skin without harmful ingredients.
1. Smoothening night cream with beeswax, vitamin E, aloe vera and lemon oil
To make this night cream, heat beeswax in a double boiler or microwave safe dish. Pour into a blender and let it cool. In a separate bowl, mix vitamin E oil, aloe vera gel, and lemon essential oil. Once the beeswax oil has completely cooled down and becomes slightly solidified, add the aloe mixture into the blender. Blend until well combined and store in a glass container. Make sure to not use a metal container to store it as it isn’t safe.
2. Super nourishing cream with beauty oils
For this nourishing cream, you need to heatolive oil, coconut oil, and beeswax together in a saucepan. Wait till it melts completely, and add vitamin E oil or use the contents of a vitamin E capsule. Add to the saucepan and allow it to cool. Store the cream in a container at room temperature. It would stay fresh for around a month or so.
3. Night cream enriched with antioxidants
Mix beeswax and almond oil in a double boiler and boil it till it melts completely. Add aloe, green tea extract and rose essential oil. This night cream will help to erase the signs of stress and pollution and help in restoring healthy skin.
4. Hydrating cream for baby soft skin
This is a super easy cream to make. You just need fresh milk cream. Mix milk cream with rose water and glycerine. Apply it on clean face and let it sink in to wake up to a velvety soft skin.
5. Anti-aging cream for dry skin
Heat cocoa butter and almond oil in a saucepan and allow them to melt and mix completely. Now add 1 teaspoon each of finely ground avocado and honey. Whip the mixture till it has a light smooth consistency. This night cream will help you to stay young and beautiful for long. This mixture can stay good for 2-3 days if you keep it refrigerated.
6. Night cream for healing skin
Chop an apple into small slices and blend them with two teaspoons of olive oil or almond oil till it achieves a smooth consistency. Mix one teaspoon of rosewater and a pinch of cinnamon powder. Apply it every night on a clean, dry face. Apples contain malic acid, beta-carotene, vitamins and antioxidants which give a glowing and younger-looking skin. The presence of cinnamon will help to reduce acne and lighten blemishes.
