One of my favourite ingredients in face packs is cinnamon. It works wonderfully for acne-prone skin due to its anti-bacterial and anti-microbial properties. Cinnamon clears out clogged pores and helps in drying out acne. Cinnamon has certain enzymes that help in bringing oxygen to the skin’s surface and thus aiding in improved blood circulation. Improved blood circulation will make your skin radiant and luminous. Cinnamon is used to plump up lips and to get bee-stung lips. However, since we talking about cinnamon face packs, would like to show you how to make face packs out of this wonder spice with amazing beauty benefits.
Pumpkin is rich in vitamin C, A, and E and also has anti-ageing benefits. To make this face pack, you need 3 to 4 cubes of boiled pumpkin, 1 tbsp of honey, 1 tbsp of milk and 1/2 tbsp of cinnamon powder. Mash the boiled pumpkin cubes and mix in all the other ingredients into it. Apply this pack on the face and let it sit for 15 minutes, wash off with cold water.
2. Cinnamon and Honey Face Pack:
This is my favorite face pack to get rid of acne. Grind around 3 to 4 cinnamon sticks, mix in 2 tbsp of honey and mix well. Apply this mixture on the face and keep it on for half an hour. Wash off after that. Use once or twice in a week to get rid of acne and to get pimple-free skin.
This is a great-smelling face pack and scrub. Coffee has a high amount of antioxidants, sugar granules act as a scrub, and almond oil moisturizes the skin. To make this pack, mix 3 tbsp of sugar, 3 tbsp of coffee powder, 1 tbsp of cinnamon powder, and 2 tbsp of almond oil together to make a smooth paste. Apply on the face and neck and rinse off after 20 minutes for glowing skin.
4. Cinnamon and Yogurt Face Pack:
Combining two of my favourite ingredients together – cinnamon with yogurt will give you smooth, hydrated, and glowing skin. 1/2 Combine 1/2 tbsp of cinnamon powder with 2 tbsp of yogurt and apply on the face and rinse off after 20 minutes.
5. Cinnamon and Oatmeal Face Pack:
A very good pack for acne-prone and dull skin. To make this pack, combine 1/2 tbsp of cinnamon with 2 tbsp of oatmeal powder and add in 1 tbsp of honey to make a pack. You can also use rose water or yogurt instead of honey. Mix well and apply on the face and wash off after 20 minutes.
