Ayur Deep Pore Cleansing Milk
Hi all,
I am going to review Ayur’s deep pore cleansing milk today. Actually this cleansing milk has been coming to my house since ages so I was bound to develop a liking for it. Though I personally prefer to clean my face with cotton dipped in un boiled milk but sometimes if the unboiled milk is not available I resort to ayur’s deep pore cleansing milk which doesn’t happen quite often so I would review this cleansing milk on my mom’s behalf as my association with the product hasn’t been so long.
What‘s written on the bottle?
Ayur’s Deep Cleansing milk is a natural herbal cleanser which gently lifts away make up, dirt and other impurities leaving the skin feeling soft, clean and healthy.
Apply with cotton wool or tissue on face and neck with upward and outward movements. To close the pores use Ayer’s astringents for best results.
Price/Quantity/Packaging:
Rs110 for 500ml, it comes in a white translucent bottle with a blue flip cap. A sticker is pasted in front which has the pictures of cucumber, rose and aloe. Let’s take a look at the benefits of all these three in brief:
Rose: Rose extract and rose oil have a host of beneficial effects on the skin and are great for promoting a youthful complexion with good tone, elasticity and an even colored complexion. The use of the rose is far and varied. It is suitable for all skin types, but it is especially valuable for dry, sensitive or aging skins. It has a tonic and astringent effect on the capillaries just below the skin surface, which makes it useful in diminishing the redness caused by enlarged capillaries
Cucumber: Cucumber is an excellent source of silica, which is a trace mineral that contributes to the strength of our connective tissue. Connective tissue is what holds our body together. Cucumbers are effective when used for various skin problems, including swelling under the eyes and sunburn.
Aloe: Aloe Vera is a common household plant that is known for its nutritional properties and soothing of the skin. The aloe Vera benefits range from soothing skin to helping internal problems. Aloe Vera contains all the vitamins, except D, that people need on a daily basis. It also contains enzymes, minerals, anti-microbial, amino acids and sugars that are all beneficial to the human body.
My take on the product:
My mother has normal skin and has been using this milk for quite a long time; she has stuck to it so definitely she must like it. Whenever I also use it on the neck I also get a clean feeling and all the dust and grime comes on the cotton wool. The area becomes clean and soft though the softness does not remain for a very long time.
Like I mentioned above also, it comes in a translucent bottle and the flip cap does not seem to be very sturdy, it might break if much pressure is exerted on to it. The cleansing milk has the consistency which any lotion would have; it is pure white in colour and has a mild fragrance.
To test its efficacy, I applied colourbar soft touch lipstick, Avon dual core eye liner and Avon dual core lipstick on my hand. With one swipe of the cleansing milk, all three of them came off partially, another sweep and it was almost clean the final one in which it was all gone. So, I can safely say it removes the normal make up (no idea about water proof make up) thoroughly. You can check the following pictures for a better idea.
Pros of Ayur Deep Pore Cleansing Milk:
1. Reasonably priced.
2. Does the job of removing dust and dirt quite effectively.
3. It even removes make up easily.
4. Has herbal ingredients.
Cons of Ayur Deep Pore Cleansing Milk:
1. Contains parabens.
2. The flip cap is not sturdy, might break soon.

This is one of the make up cleanser that is cheap and very effective :thumbsup: ! I have used it many times. it removes normal make up quickly but not very much effective in removing eye make up, it also stings eyes many times, but one good thing is that , after using it my face seems so so soft !! My sis has bought the biggest bottle some 500 ml of this cleanser :stars:
does it say anywhere what skin types it is for?
Its for all skin types ! But if you have oily skin, I would say to avoid it ! I have dry skin, and it makes my skin very oily, so oily skin may not like it, if oily skin people use it they would have to use a face wash after using this for sure !

u can also use baby oil to remove make up i do use it and m beneffited from it as the eye make up cums off easily

This is my favorite cleanser , it cleans all my heavy makeup and i have combination skin and it never breaks . I used body shop and other brands but always comes back to this ….i am in love with this cleanser ….
