Baking Powder Spot Treatment for Acne: Do-it-Yourself
Hi everyone,

Today I will be sharing a very easy but effective home made treatment for acne. I have been suffering from acne for the past 14 years or so and believe me there is no wonder cream/treatment to cure the same. However, like all other girls, I keep trying all sorts of things on my face in a hope that the acne would subside. I have been applying this easy peasy mixture for quite some time and it has actually reduced the acne to an extent. Please read on further how you can make this paste.
Things needed:

Baking Soda
Water
Clean Glass Bowl
Method:
Just mix one fourth teaspoon baking soda with equal quantities of water.
It will start to froth but don’t get scared as baking soda has a tendency to do so.
Pick up the product with clean fingers and apply only on acne. You will feel a slight burning sensation but don’t worry it wont cause any harm on the skin. Rinse off with cold water after half an hour or so. You will see the redness gone to an extent and the acne will shrink with continuous application.
Precautions:
1. If you have a sensitive skin please do a patch test.
2. Do not use the stored mixture. Always make a fresh batch.
3. If irritation persists, cleanse off with water immediately and if you notice any skin rash/allergy please contact your dermatologist.
