My Experience with Benefit Dream Screen SPF 45 PA +++
I picked up quite a few products from benefit skin care range. Some worked , some didn’t. This one falls in the category of the ones that worked.
Dream Screen is a brilliant sunscreen with high SPF protection and protects you prom both UVA and UVB rays. I think the biggest problem with most sunscreens are that either they are too oily, or leave a whitish cast behind or make your sweat. This sunscreen has tackled all those issues.
It is a very lightweight milky lotion. It almost has a thin liquidy consistency. It goes on with a satiny finish but dries to a matte finish. When you apply it, you can see the shine on your face. But the shine settles down in a few seconds and the sunscreen gets absorbed quickly in the skin. It’s almost like an invisible protective layer on your skin. It does not make you sweat. There is zero whitish cast. You can easily use it underneath your foundation without worrying about it interfering with your face makeup. It leave skin feeling very comfortable. Don’t wear it when you have to click photographs since it has a very high SPF and your pics would looks washed out in case of flash photography.
It comes in a pretty mint plastic bottle with a cork lid. There is a thin nozzle opening so you can totally control the amount of product.
It does not have any significant fragrance to it.
I have been using this for a while now and it has never broken me out. A little goes a long way. Infact, I find that applying a tin layer of this gives the best results than piling it on.
It is also oil free so it can be used for all skin tones.
I haven’t had an experience of it using on a beach under harsh sun but it’s pretty darn good protection for tropical weathers.
Overall, one of the most amazing sunscreens I have tried so far. Brilliant!
Although I do feel that it’s kinda expensive for an everyday product. My Lotus and La Roche Posey sunscreens work pretty darn great at much lesser price.
