I entered the world of makeup not more than 3-4 months ago. So I do not have a huge makeup collection. So when my brother got this large palette of 120 shades, I was really excited. Read on to know how it fared for me.

My Experience with BH Cosmetics Third Edition – 120 Color Eyeshadow Palette:
Packaging:
The eyeshadows come in a sturdy case. The case has two trays of 60 colors each, placed one above the other. The palette also has a mirror, which is not as large as the size of the palette, but still good enough for eye makeup. The palette shuts tight, but it is very large and bulky, so carrying this around will not be easy. However, since this has a huge variety of shades, I carry this with me because I will not need any other single or palette during my visit. One drawback with this palette is that no brush has been provided.
Shades:
BH cosmetics has 6 different editions of 120 color palettes and I own the 3rd edition. This edition has a wide range of shades from soft nudes to bright fun colors, matte finish to shimmery ones. The other editions have either too many deep shades or too many bright shades. Personally, I feel that the 3rd edition is the best in this range because it covers all kinds of shades. I shall give a description of each tray in short.
Tray 1:
The first tray is more colourful and fun. It has a variety of pinks, peaches, yellows, browns and a few blues and greens also. Some of them are very shimmery and the others are matte.
Tray 2:
This tray has more of deep and dark shades. Most of them are shades of black and blue. There are also a few metallic shades in this tray. And I use these to define my crease and they fare well without much fallout.
Quality and Texture:
Now, coming to the pigmentation, I must say I am really impressed. These shades are highly pigmented even without the primer, except 2-3 shades. The texture is really soft and comfortable to wear. There is a bit of fallout during application, but once blended, these shadows stay in place without budging.
Staying Power:
I have worn these several times and they stay well for around 4-5 hours with a primer. Without the primer, they stay for 2-3 hours. These shadows do not crease much. However, using them with a good primer or a concealer would bring the best out of them. Overall, I feel this is a very good and affordable palette for those who want a huge variety of shades within budget.

I will not repurchase this palette because I want to try something else but I’d definitely recommend this to everyone.
