Hope you all are doing great. Recently, I purchased a few lippies from Bite Beauty. As you all know, Bite Beauty is famous for their makeup which is made with natural food grade ingredients. The ‘Amuse Bouche Lipstick’ range is one of their cult favourites and I purchased two shades: Eggplant and Chai. Since ‘Chai‘ is already reviewed on IMBB I am going to review ‘Eggplant’ today. Let’s see how it fared for me.

My Experience with Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick Eggplant:

Packaging:
The packaging is really classy. The lipstick comes housed in a charcoal grey rubberized packaging. The cap has a sharp cut to it, which makes it more unique. There is also an outer grey cardboard box with red lips that look super cute. The box bears all the product-related details and the ingredient list. The packaging is very nice and travel-friendly.

Shade:
Bite Beauty offers a huge variety of shades in this range – nudes, neutrals, pinks, reds, berries, purples, and browns. There is something for everyone. ‘Eggplant’ is described as “a smoky plum” but I find it to be a cool-toned purple. The shade is stunning and will complement every skin tone.

Formula:
The texture of this lipstick is first class. It is creamy and gives a satin finish to the lips. The lippie applies well and seems to glide on the lips smoothly without any tugging and pulling; it is creamy but not slippery. The consistency is fairly lightweight and comfortable and it doesn’t settle into the lip lines or cracks. The pigmentation of this is good and gives good coverage when layered on. The lipstick has a vanilla minty fragrance to it which is really refreshing.

Wear Time:
Since this is a creamy lipstick the wear time is around 4 to 5 hours. The lipstick transfers a little on everything but it still leaves a beautiful stain behind and seems to last the whole day on the lips.

Overall:
I love this lipstick and recommend it to everyone.
