I had recently picked up lip balms from Blistex. Today’s review is all about Blistex Happy Lips Shine Like Paris. Read on to know more about the product.

My Experience With Blistex Happy Lips Shine Like Paris:

The product comes in a sealed package. It has all the necessary information on the back. This is an another lip balm from the Happy Lips range. Once you open the plastic case, it is light pink in color and has a transparent cap. It is a twist-up lip balm. The cap closes with a click. This makes it travel-friendly. Instead of the usual lip like designs, this had stars on the cap. Overall, the package is nice.

The lip balm is transparent and has shimmers in them. The shimmers are hardly visible. The lip balm has a bubblegum flavor and fragrance. It feels a little artificial for me. The product glides on very easily. It provides a sheen finish. The shimmers are hardly visible when applied but you can clearly see them when you are in sunlight or with a flash. The glossy finish makes it look a little oily. Because of this, it is not a good base for lipsticks as it doesn’t make the lipstick stick onto it.

The product is lightweight and you can hardly feel it on the lips. The product provides intense moisturization to the lips. It locks in the moisture and helps heal the dryness on the lips.

The product doesn’t eliminate the dryness but it does prevent occurrence again. The lip balm provides moisturization for around 4-5 hours which is pretty decent. The product doesn’t survive any meals or drinks.

The product is claimed to contain sunscreen but there is no mention of the factor on it. The product since being transparent doesn’t cover pigmented lips nor does it help to reduce them. Overall, it is a good lip balm. So summing up
