Today, I will be reviewing a new product from the “Almond Milk and Honey” range of TBS. I had been looking for a scrub that did not have added colorants, and this one caught my eye. To know more about this product and how it fared for me, read on further.

My Experience with The Body Shop Almond Milk and Honey Gently Exfoliating Cream Scrub:
I was on the lookout for a scrub after I finished my Sugar Cranberry one from TBS, and also because I was not happy with the fact that the cranberry scrub had artificial colorants added to give a bright red colour to the product. After seeing the reviews of products from the “Almond and Honey” range on IMBB (Shower Cream, Body Lotion), I decided to purchase this one.
The packaging for this scrub is similar to the cranberry one. It comes in a plastic transparent tub with a white screw on cap. The cap has a pretty design of honey, almonds and milk. All the details about the product are written on the sides of the tub as well as the bottom.
The scrub itself is extremely creamy and has very fine scrub particles in it which are barely visible and can only be felt during use. The colour of the cream scrub is off white. It is not extremely thick, nor is it extremely thin, which I like. It boasts of milk sourced from Spain and honey from Ethiopia. The scent is a bit too strong and perfume-like, which can be attributed to the fragrance that may have been artificially added. Personally, I do not like the scent; I only like it after I have used it, when it diffuses a bit.
Coming to the application of the product, this scrub goes on smoothly on the skin. For added exfoliation, I ensure that my skin is not dripping wet, but somewhat damp. It does not feel harsh on the skin at all, and leaves behind a silky smooth finish. Overall, I am happy with this purchase.
Pros of The Body Shop Almond Milk and Honey Gently Exfoliating Cream Scrub:

- Tub packaging is unhygienic to use in the shower.

I am glad that The Body Shop is moving away from colorants and artificial dyes. Yes, this is an amazing scrub for those who have dry and sensitive skin. I would definitely repurchase this for the winter season if I run out of it soon.
