Boots Fresh and Crisp Apple Shampoo Review

My hair has gone crazy ever since I’ve shifted to UAE. It has become dry, lifeless and brittle. So, I’ve started experimenting with various shampoos to see what works. My latest purchase is this Boots Fresh and Crisp Apple Shampoo. Here’s how it fared.

My Experience with Boots Fresh and Crisp Apple Shampoo:

Boots offers various fruity shampoos and I picked up the apple variant. This is my first Boots product but I bought it because I had heard so much about the brand. People claim that a lot of Boots products work like a charm but, unfortunately, that is not true. I know it’s heartbreaking, but this shampoo didn’t work for me.

The shampoo has a really nice consistency and a little product is needed each time. My hair feel softer as soon as the shampoo starts lathering. But once I wash and dry my hair, hair goes back to its original position. The quantity is good for the price. I used the first bottle fully and then bought this one, thinking it would take some time to show results but nothing has happened to my hair so far. This shampoo has not treated or conditioned my hair at all.

This shampoo has a very strong green apple fragrance, which I do not like. The fragrance is so strong that I am not able to breathe for a seconds after application. The fragrance is refreshing and lingers on for up to 2 days, which is a bummer for me. As far as the results are concerned, this shampoo just adds a little shine. It does not hydrate my hair but does not dry it out either. It has also not done anything for my hair fall. It is a pretty basic shampoo, to be honest. It just cleanses the hair and adds a little shine.
