When Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Palette was launched and all the Instagram gurus were using it, I so wanted the palette and let’s agree that it came with a price tag that made me feel, do I really need it and I left it there! Recently, Catrice launched its lip palette which is almost a dupe of the ABH palette and today’s review is all about Catrice Lip Artist Pro Palette 010 Individualip. Read on to know more.

My Experience with Catrice Lip Artist Pro Palette 010 Individualip:
The lip palette comes in a plastic case. The cap of it is transparent and you can easily see the shades in the palette. The cap closes very well. There are 15 colors in the palette, has a mixing plate and a two sided brush. You can easily mix the colors in the palette itself, which is a plus. The palette is sleek and easy to carry. There is some information on the back of the palette. One of the biggest advantages this palette has over ABH Palette is the easy availability and cost effectiveness. However, the product is going out of stock at stores very soon due to its immense popularity.
You can see the similarities of shades in the palette. However, Catrice has tailored it to have differences. There are 15 shades in the palette and all offer a matte finish. The palette is divided into 3 rows. The top most consists of nudes, the second row consists of darker shades and the third one mainly contains primary colors. There are no names for the shades.
The brush is dual-sided and on one side, it has a silicone spatula and the other side is a normal lip brush. The brush is of decent quality and is easy to use. You can pick up the colors from the palette with the spatula and then mix it on the mixing plate. The use of the spatula makes it hygienic to use. After mixing, you can pick up the product with the brush and apply evenly on the lips. The brush helps in application of the product near the corners of the lips too. The shades offered by the palette are amazing and provide a matte finish.
Row 1: Consists of nudes and they match Indian tones perfectly.
Shade 1: It is a brownish matte shade and almost feels nothing on lips.
Shade 2: The color looks a little bright but when applied, it accentuates the lips.
Shade 3: This is a pinkish nude. This is one of the colors I least like as it doesn’t look well on my pigmented lips.
Shade 4: This is a nude mauve shade.
Shade 5: This is a little darker shade of shade 1.
Row 2: All the colors in this row leave a stain and are deeply pigmented.
Shade 6: This is a purplish magenta shade. It is well pigmented and a little product easily covers the pigmented lips.
Shade 7: This is a bright orangey shade.
Shade 8: This is a bright pink shade. It is bright for every day shade.
Shade 9: This is a bright purple shade. It has some hues of pink, but it stands out in the crowd.
Shade 10: This shade is a blue-greyish shade.
Row 3: Primary Colors. The colors are well pigmented. You can use this shade to create ombre shades or to mix with the rows above to create unique shades.
The shades are creamy and are easy to work with. You can create ombre effect or new shades easily. The shades are amazingly pigmented. When applying alone, they are pigmented well. The product stays for around 5-6 hours which is great. The product is a bit moisturizing and doesn’t dry out the lips, but application has to be done to well exfoliated lips. The mixing tray can be cleansed off with a wipe and it is ready to be used again. The product does transfer a bit, but there is no bleeding which is great. If you know the color combination, you can be very creative with the colors. However, one of the main issues I have is when I have customized shade, it is difficult to recreate it again! Overall, it is a good palette and since it is affordable, you can get creative with the shades. So summing up

I wouldn’t repurchase as it would go for a long time, but I will definitely recommend it.
