A good mascara can instantly boost your looks. It adds such intensity to the eyes that it’s unimaginable for me to live without one. My mascaras last around 2 to 3 months. I am glad that they get over soon and give me the reasons to buy new mascaras. This review is about Catrice Rock Couture Extreme Volume Mascara 24H. I chose the washable version, and now let’s get started with the review.

My Experience with Catrice Rock Couture Extreme Volume Mascara 24H:

The packaging is ultimate. The outer packaging looks all glammed up because of the texture of the cap. As you can see from the pictures, the packaging is just so beautiful. The mascara bottle is made of plastic and is lightweight.

The wand is long and thick with bristles at the end. The bristles remind me of L’Oréal Paris Volume Million Lashes Fatale Mascara. The bristles are extremely small and are paired together. To be more precise, there are two small bristles grouped as a pair.

The lashes pass through the pair of bristles making sure there is no clumping. Such kind of bristles help in achieving the intense look. These bristles carry a lot of product and deliver it to the lashes quite well.

I usually apply the mascara from the roots to the tip by sliding it through the lashes; this is the first layer. For the second coat, I wiggle as I move towards the tips. I feel that one layer itself creates quite a good effect but the second coat always adds more volume.

I also apply a single layer on my lower lashes for the dramatic look. The mascara is dark black and it dries up pretty quickly. The mascara doesn’t flake even by the end of the day. Overall, it’s a great mascara and I am currently loving it. It’s totally affordable when compared to other drugstore mascaras.
