My Experience with Catrice Shine Appeal Fluid Lipstick 020 Kiss Me in the Sunshine:
As always, the packaging is great. It comes in a transparent square-shaped plastic tube. The cap is black and also square. The product looks like a normal lipstick from outside. The cap has an applicator wand. The wand tip has a very soft applicator. It’s very easy to open and close the cap. The cap closes tightly and there is no chance of leakage, so it is safe to travel with.
The wand of the applicator is stiff and doesn’t flex when applying the product on to the lips. The tip of the applicator is also very soft and glides easily over the lips.
The consistency of the product is very similar to that of a lipgloss. The product claims to contain Vitamin E which nourishes the lips. The staying power of the product is not as much as that of a lipstick. It lasts for 1 to 2 hours without any drinking and eating. The product gets easily transferred on to cups when drinking. It doesn’t feel sticky on the lips.
The color is a nude. The shade has a tiny amount of shimmer. The shimmer is almost unnoticeable unless you keenly observe. I didn’t like this shade of nude. It looked kind of washed out. The lips look totally glossed but the shade didn’t suit me. I felt it looked patchy and very unflattering.
The product is definitely not for me. I prefer matte lipsticks as I need to apply just once before going to work and it needs no touchups. This is not the case with liquid lipstick.
Overall, I am not at all satisfied since the staying power is not that great and also the color just doesn’t suit darker skin tones.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Catrice Shine Appeal Fluid Lipstick 020 Kiss Me in the Sunshine?
No way! I prefer and feel more confident with lipstick on my lips than lip gloss or liquid lipstick. I also don’t like to reapply the product; this happens to be the case here. The shade is so not me. If you are more of a lip gloss person and like to try different nude shades, then you can try it.
