My Experience with Caudalie Deep Cleansing Exfoliator:

When I was traveling recently, I had a sample of this Caudalie Deep Cleansing Exfoliator with me and since I didn’t have any other proper exfoliator, I thought I should give it a try, and it turned out to be so good that I literally went and bought the full tube pack of this exfoliator. Caudalie Deep Cleansing Exfoliator is not like the most smoothest or gentle exfoliator; I would say it’s a little rough, people who have very sensitive skin can find it a little harsh on the skin. So, I use it maybe once a week, but it really does the job of exfoliating skin well, leaving it clean. It does not dry out my skin, but I do feel the need to apply a moisturizer after using this exfoliator.

It’s one of those exfoliators that you can use to really deep clean your skin once in a week or when you really want that satisfaction of complete exfoliation. It’s not like the most gentle exfoliator, but it’s very good, and it never broke me out.The granules are very fine, but as I said, they are a little rough.

It’s a cream-based exfoliator and does not smell of anything. It comes in a very simple, silver-colored tube with a brown wooden-like cap. I think if you do a lot of makeup, it’s always a good idea to exfoliate. This Caudalie product is an extremely good exfoliator, so much so that I literally went and hunted it down. It’s easily available at most French pharmacies and you can also get it in Sephora. The brand mentions that it contains 97% ingredients of natural origin and it’s suitable for all skin types, but I would say, it’s good especially with people of combination to oily skin. Since I have normal to dry skin, I do feel the need for a moisturizer after using it.

This product is also paraben and sulfate free. Even though the granules are quite coarse, I don’t feel it to be harsh on the skin. I feel you have to have one good exfoliator in your kit that would really get the dead skin cells out of your skin, at least to use once in a week.

This is one of the best exfoliators I have used so far.

If you find it very harsh, you can mix a bit of cleansing oil or cleansing milk in it and then use it on your skin, but I don’t need to follow that process.

The granules are pretty fine and they don’t melt right away on your skin, they just give you enough time, especially to go around the nose area, and around the sides of the nose. If you have to really extract your blackheads, it really helps in getting rid of a lot of dead skin cells on your skin.

I can only highly recommend it and I think I would never really stop using it. It’s definitely one of the best exfoliators that I have used. I have already repurchased this product, but if I have to repurchase, I would definitely repurchase.
