Lipsticks!! This is one field I never explored before I bumped into IMBB. THE only thing that I used on my lips was lip balm 😛 And after IMBB, everything changed. ☺ So today we have here, Chambor Powder Matte Lipstick #176 Pink Flamingo. I read Neha’s reviews on this range and I can’t express how much I fell in love with them!! Neha was praising it so much that I had to give them a try!! 😛 I went in search of these lippies last week and ended up at Shopper’s Stop Chambor counter. Even before I asked the SA about this range, I noticed that the lippie shade the SA had on her was amazing!! You know that ”feeling” when you come across a shade that you feel you had always been searching for ? This was it! 😛 I asked her to swatch that one. And lucky me it was from the same range that I went in search of. 😀

Let’s talk about the product now. 🙂  Am sure everyone is aware about the brand Chambor but let me give a quick introduction to the ones who are new to this brand from their website.

My experience with Chambor Powder Matte Lipstick #176 – Pink Flamingo:
“Matte lovers alert!!” 😛 You will love this range. *happy dance* I suggest you should have atleast one shade from this range . Pink Flamingo! As the name says , it’s a mauvish pink shade . This shade is almost similar to “Chambor Powder Matte lipstick : Pink Devil” reviewed by Neha, but a brighter version.

The packaging is slightly different compared to the earlier ones. The new ones are sleek and have a glossy finish. The rest of the packaging remains the same with a dark blue body and a silver bullet. Now the texture!! This is the best part of these lippies . 🙂  They glide on smoothly over the lips giving that PERFECT matte look! They are soooo creamy and moisturizing *happy dance* I have tried many matte lippies and they usually dry my lips after awhile. I did not face that with this lippie. It keeps my lips moisturized and they don’t feel heavy on the lips. This lipstick is richly pigmented, so this is a boon for the ones with pigmented lips 😉 One swipe is enough to give me that beautiful mauvish pink colour. You can build the colour for a bold look. I usually go bold with this lippie for any important occasion and use it as a stain when I go to college 😛 The price of this has been increased ever since they have been introduced( From Rs.400 to Rs.450 to Rs. 595 now). But I say it’s completely worth the money !! One other advantage is that it is long lasting. I apply it in the morning and it stays upto 4-5 hours without meals. With meals, it leaves behind a pink stain. The lipstick does transfer but very slightly. This lipstick is matte and at the same time very creamy. These lipsticks suit Indian skin tone from fair, medium to dusky. The SA who had this lippie on her was dusky and this looked absolutely stunning on her. On the whole, it’s a perfect matte lipstick with a beautiful colour and texture.
