Today, I am here to share my views on Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Contour Wand in the shade “Light,” which is designed for light to medium skin tones. It is a chocolate coloured, creamy contour formula which blends easily, helps define and contour facial features. Do read on, to know more about this product.

Application Tips:
To use, start by sucking in your cheekbones and sweeping the sponge applicator on the hollows in a horizontal line towards your hairline. Apply in vertical stripes on the sides of your nose and loop underneath, then apply on the sides of your forehead, temples and jawline. Finish by applying on the eye crease to fake a deeper socket. Then use the hollywood complexion brush to buff and blend it all in the skin for a seamless finish. My Experience with Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Contour Wand:

This chocolate contour cream comes packaged in a good-quality, metallic-coloured tube with a chocolate coloured twister and a rose-gold coloured cap. A sponge applicator is attached to the twister. The twister needs to be twisted to open up the tube and you need to mildly press the tube to squeeze out the product. After each use, it is important to twist back and close the tube. The tube comes packaged in a burgundy-coloured cardboard box. This product can be termed travel friendly.

I wanted to try Charlotte Tilbury contour wand from the day it was launched and finally, I purchased it. Contouring is not my daily cup of cake, but yes occasionally, I love to contour my facial features. Charlotte tilbury has introduced two shades in “Hollywood Contour Wand” range – light to medium and medium to light. I picked up light to medium for my moderately fair skin, which is a chocolate-coloured shade. This shade works well as a contour for light, fair and moderately fair skin tones. It’s a lightweight creamy formula. It is neither sticky nor greasy. After concealing and applying foundation, I start using this formula to contour my facial features.

The formula can be applied directly to the skin using a sponge applicator. I swipe this formula in the hollow of my cheekbones, on my temples, on my forehead close to the hair line, on the sides of my nose and the loop underneath, on my jawline and below my chin. It applies evenly and smoothly, no tugging or pulling. Does not feel greasy or oily. It needs to be blended. I blend either using my fingers or my Bobbi Brown Full Coverage Face Brush or my Color Me Pro-Edition Applicator in Rose Gold. Blends easily and evenly in to the skin, without much effort. It does not get wiped off while blending.

The shade is buildable to get the desired effect. Intensity can be built by reapplication, depending on the skin tone and the requirement. Helps contour facial features, giving a slimmer, contoured and sculpted look to my face. It does not cause any breakouts or dry or irritate my sensitive skin. Pigmentation is quite good and lasting power is approximately six hours. This product can be used by all skin types, however, cannot comment for the very oily and acne-prone skin types.

Would I Recommend Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Contour Wand?
I do recommend this product to all. Since I do not use it regularly, it may last for a very long time, so I do not see my self repurchasing this product very soon.
