I got some gorgeous eye shadows from the Colorbar store as well, apart from the pretty lip colors. The shadows are a variety of shades but not texture or finishes. I noticed that the shadows are mainly metallic or shimmer and not mattes.They need to work in the “finish” department like MAC.
The packaging is cute and functional. They have a curved applicator underneath which I dont use at all! The sponge tip is no doubt good and could be used but I find the whole process very cumbersome.It also has a tiny mirror underneath, well see for your own how usable it is!
Coming to shadow, the name sounds really nice, and the shade is a dirty purple and has black undertones,the shade is metallic and pearly. It has fine shimmer but not very obvious shimmer to it but it is definitely not matte or satin. I like the shade quite a lot and I find it apt for a soft smokey look if you wear this shade only on the lid like I did.
The shadow is pigmented enough but it is not true to the color in the pan. You need to layer it up to get the real purple color and the shade is still pigmented and looks lightly smokey purple. Over all the pigmentation is good but I have used better pigmented shades from colorbar itself.
The texture is soft and tightly packed but surprsingly there is no fall out whatso ever when you pack the eye shadow on to the lid. The shade is not chalky or crumbly and it is real value for money. I wish I could depot it or they would sell refill pans as well soon..
For my eyes,I wore a flush of this color, may be two layers to pack it on and the liner in thick black matte. For kohl I wore a shimmer black eye pencil and smudged a little bit of the shadow under the lash line as well. Say hello to my new color lens and my dark circles as well. Lens review coming up soon!

Lovely EOTD and pretty shadow color, Neha! I have the expensive pink shade from this range, and I simply love it. Was eyeing on this purple shade. However was wondering, would it look good on dark skin?
