I am reviewing here today Colorbar’s latest launch – their full cover concealer.
Now, before you think That I am crazy makeup addict hoarding primers and concealers every now & then, 😛 😛 let me tell you that this was gifted/sponsored by a very dear friend :teddy: :puchi:

The concealer is available in 9 shades and I am sure there is one made for every skin tone.
The shade that I have is creamy natural 002. The SA offered me shade 001 and applied it on my hand & tried to convince me that it is the right shade for me. I asked her to give me all the testers she had and I would apply it on my dark circles myself. I applied shade 001 under one eye & 002 on the other and checked myself in natural day light. Shade 001 was bit too light on me and it was making my under eye area too bright & it looked very OTT-over the top 😐
So , I bought shade 002 which looked better on me.
PACKGING
The concealer comes in a cute glass pot with a silver cap. The packaging is exactly like their lip pots.
INGREDIENTS
HOW TO APPLY
The best way to apply this product is with fingertips as it will warm up the product before application. Then pat lightly onto the places where you need to cover & slowly blend the edges away for smooth finish. In a rush, Small strokes with finger tips will also do the trick. Can also be applied with a firm brush or latex sponge.

I got this vanity pouch from colorbar as I had purchased from the counter products above Rs.900. I have already stuffed it with my makeup essentials for my trip 😀
MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE PRODUCT
As claimed this concealer does provide full coverage and hides dark circles, blemishes, acne spots completely. The consistency is somewhat creamy but not super creamy like colorbar;s stick form concealer. I had to make a little effort to blend this in my skin completely, but once you are done the result is amazing. I tried applying/blending it with a concealer brush and finger tips both, and felt that it is easier to work with your finger tips than with a brush. Being non greasy & oil free the concealer is apt for ladies with combination to oily skin. Once set with some compact or loose powder the concealer stays on for good 5-6 hours without fading. Also, since the formula is non comedogenic it does not break out my skin or block my pores, so I can also easily use it to conceal my breakouts. The only thing that I didn’t like much about the concealer is the pot type packaging. 😐 it gets really difficult to dig out the product with fingers, and if you have long nails, you will end up feeding them up with some good amount of concealer 😛 😛 😛

u have more shades to choose from in dis colorbar concealer, while oriflame mineral concealer offers just 2 shades….. 😐
talking abt coverage this gives full coverage, while that gives light-medium coverage….
So i wud suggest u get oriflame one only if any of its 2 shades match ur skin tone… 🙂

Nupuri…me planning to go this weekend to colorbar store..will they give samples? I would like t try their different concealers at home and check out how it looks during day time..especially in daylight ?:) tumne kaha se liya? mujhe aaj tak kisi ne samples nahi diye hai :headbang: 🙁

Nupur it has really concealed your dark circles perfectly, you dont have much dark circles but still make up looks awesome, and i would love to try it 4 sure!! Anyways how many concealers and primers you have now?? :tongue:

price is right in my budget 😀 i seriously need a concealer ,and had even considered buying the maybelline dream matte mousse one (i know i know its insane 😛 ) but i have such oily skin tht cn give arabs a rub for their money ,so i think this would be a perfect purchase for me 🙂 :yahoo:

ive been using this concealer for over a month now n i totally agree with u..im so glad u reviwed it..though i have to say my eyes stinge alot while applying it..and i do end up havin the product under my nails..nt cool :shame:
i want to purchase this product but sadly there are no colorbar products available in my city 🙁 hence i cant decide which shade will suit me perfectly to order online…I’m confused between shade 002 and 003..my skin colour may be a shade darker than yours..and from the swatches rati had shown, shade 003 appeared lighter than 002..can you please tell me which is the darker shade? or which might suit my skin shade the closest??
