Recently, Colorbar has launched their new MesmerEyes Kajal and as a Kajal lover, I picked this product with lots of expectation. Read on to know more about this kajal.

My Experience with Colorbar MesmerEyes Kajal:
Packaging: Kajal comes in a very classy black outer paper packaging with a beautiful graphic eye look printed on the outlet. The outer packaging contains all the detailed information about this Kajal. Actually, the Kajal looks like a normal, black long retractable pencil with a nice cap. Twist up works nicely and it looks so pretty. It is a little costlier when compared with the other kajal like Lakme Eyeconic and Maybelline Colossal but, it is still an affordable one.
Shade: It has only one shade that is deep, yet a natural black and it looks very nice on my eyes with a super pigmented quality. This shade is a very classy matte black shade that is perfect for daily wear. It needs only one or two strokes to build up the coverage and it looks so bold on the eyes.
Texture and Quality: The Kajal has a super creamy soft texture that glides smoothly on the eyes without any tugging on my water line. It is so easy to apply it with one single stroke and I was able to create a nice winged eyeliner look with it. It doesn’t feel patchy or dry. The application is so smooth and it makes my eyes beautiful. I can easily create a thick line with it and it looks so perfect on my waterline. Also, I can use it on my upper and lower lash lines. I also used it as a base for a smoky eye look. It works nicely in each way.
The bullet is quite strong and it doesn’t break easily. This Kajal has a nice velvety matte finish that looks so glamorous on the eyes.
Due to its super creamy formula, it takes a little time to settle in a perfectly non-smudge-able texture. But, it works well for a natural smudgy or smoky look. I can blend the Kajal easily just after the application. I love the natural finish and it provides me with a clean look. It doesn’t smudge automatically but, rubbing the kajal can smudge and make it look messy on the eyes.
I have a bad habit of touching the corners and it looks messy by the end of the day. So I can’t say it is a 100% smudge proof Kajal. But, the formula is decently waterproof. It doesn’t wash off with water, as a normal daily wear Kajal, it works nicely. It doesn’t transfer on my lid. It suits my sensitive eyes perfectly. It is also easy to remove with a makeup removing wipe.
Staying Power: The product claims that it will last up to 10hrs but it is not that last longing. I have a very oily skin and it lasted around 6-7 hours on my eyes nicely. But the colour starts to fade away from my waterline after 3 hours. Also, if I rub my eyes it looks messy. As the weather is dry now, it lasts nicely but, I am not sure about the longevity on a hot summer day because it is not a perfect smudge proof Kajal.
Overall I am happy to have it but I love my Lakme Eyeconic, Maybelline Colossal and L’oreal Paris Magique Bold kajal better than this one. I really like its super smooth quality as it is very easy to apply them on both lash lines.

Will I Repurchase/Recommend Colorbar MesmerEyes Kajal?
I always prefer a perfect smudge proof Kajal. So I’m not sure about repurchasing this one but, if you love a super smooth Kajal then it is a nice one to buy.
