In this post, I am going to review Coloressence HD Sparkle in the variant HDS 7. Read on to know more about this product.
The highly pigmented loose color for bright and dazzling eyes which gives neutral, elegant and a beautiful look. The powder effect gives a great and a fascinating to your eyes which is specially required for perfect glamorous look.
My Experience with Coloressence HDS-7 HD Sparkle:
Let’s begin with packaging of the product. The pigment comes in a small, transparent plastic jar. The clear body helps to easily spot the shade from outside only. This jar has a plastic sieve-like safety cover, which comes with most of the eyeshadow pigments and loose powder packaging. The sieve helps to keep a small amount of the product on top of it and hence prevents spillage of powder pigments. It has a round screw-on lid with transparent center and has the brand’s tagline on it. This jar does not come with any label bearing the ingredients list, etc. This is one thing which I particularly do not like this brand. I tried searching on their website about product-related information. All I could find is a small product description on their website but there is no information about ingredients.
Overall, the packaging of the product is fine but seems quite fragile and should be stored securely to avoid breakage.
“HDS-7” is a pretty rose gold eyeshadow pigment, but what makes it different from other such rose gold pigments is the presence of big golden shimmers in it. Initially, I did not take a liking to it, but overall, it is a nice bling rose gold pigment, which is great to creative festive and party makeup looks.
This pigment adds pretty bling to eye makeup. The size of the glitter is decent and does not look chunky. Though the glitter pigment is not subtle, it does not look gaudy either. It can be worn alone as an eyeshadow or it can also be used as a glittery top coat as well. This shade is apt to create glam eye makeup look. It is not suitable for daytime use since it has that extra bling in it. The formula is decently pigmented and requires two swipes to achieve the perfect color and finish. This is such a versatile shade.
The texture is soft, smooth and fine, but the pigment does fallout very easily and leaves glitter all around, so I have to be very careful while applying it on to eyelids. I put some loose powder on my under eye area to catch fallout, otherwise the glitters adhere to the skin firmly which makes difficult to wipe off fallout. I use a flat damp eye shadow brush to apply this pigment, which I normally use for packing the glitters on my eyes. This technique also helps to reduce fallout. The pigment has a velvety feel and glides effortlessly on the eyelids and it is really easy to blend and does not get patchy. It does not have the tendency to crease.
The longevity of the product is somewhere around 6-7 hours on my eyelids with an eye primer underneath, which is pretty decent for a drugstore brand. Overall, I love this pigment for creating glam eye makeup looks.
