DIY for Milk Exfoliator

We all are aware about the goodness and benefits of Milk Powder. We often use it in our face packs and love the after effects. I personally love this amazing ingredient and keep on using it in every second home made face pack.

DIY for Milk Exfoliator

Milk Powder works as an excellent cleanser, which works wonders on skin. It helps in making our skin more radiant and bright. It contains whitening properties which helps in improving the complexion and lightens the skin tone, without the usage of any harmful chemicals. It gently removes the dead skin and imparts a healthy glow on face. It slows down the process of ageing and helps in minimizing fine lines and wrinkles. It’s regular usage helps in treating sunburn and reducing tanning. Apart from this goodness, it also helps in moisturising the skin and makes it supple and healthy.

So, without wasting any more time, I am quickly going to tell you the procedure of three exfoliators for different skin types.

1. Exfoliator for Dry Skin:

Ingredients Required:

1 Spoon Milk Powder
1 Spoon Besan
1 Spoon Honey
1 Green Tea Bag

Procedure:

Step 1: Empty the content of a used Green Tea Bag in a bowl.
Step 2: Add Milk Powder, Besan and Honey in the same bowl and make a paste.
Step 3: Apply this scrub on your face and neck and leave it for 10-15 minutes.
Step 4: Scrub it in anti-clockwise direction lightly and wash with luke warm water.

2. Exfoliator for Normal Skin:

Ingredients Required:

1 Spoon Milk Powder
1 Spoon Coffee
1 Spoon Sugar
Rose Water

Procedure:

Step 1: Add Milk Powder, Coffee and Sugar in a bowl.
Step 2: Make a paste with the help of Rose Water.
Step 3: Apply this scrub on your face and neck and leave it for 10-15 minutes.
Step 4: Scrub it in anti-clockwise direction lightly and wash with luke warm water.

3. Exfoliator for Oily Skin:

Ingredients Required:

1 Spoon Milk Powder
1 Spoon Besan
4-5 Almonds
Pinch of Turmeric
Rose Water

Procedure:

Step 1: Crush the almonds and make a fine powder of it.
Step 2: Add Milk Powder, Crushed Almonds, Besan and Turmeric in a bowl.
Step 3: Make a paste with the help of Rose Water.
Step 4: Apply this scrub on your face and neck and leave it for 10-15 minutes.
Step 5: Scrub it in anti-clockwise direction lightly and wash with luke warm water.

Benefits of the ingredients used:

  1. Green Tea: This small tea bag can do wonders for your skin. It helps in rejuvenating the skin and makes it bright and flawless.
  2. Honey: It is known as a natural cleanser. It has anti-inflammatory properties which helps in delating the process of ageing. It helps in lighten and brighten the uneven skin tone.
  3. Besan: It is an excellent exfoliator to lighten and brighten the dull skin. People are using it from so many years to make their skin bright and glowing.

  7. Turmeric: It is a great exfoliating agent and it also helps us to fight the signs of ageing. It is a trustworthy ingredient to reduce or remove scars and spots.
  8. Rose Water: It has antibacterial property which helps in fighting acne and eczema. It also helps in rejuvenating the skin and makes it soft, smooth and glowing.

I keep on using these scrubs alternatively. These scrubs are filled with the goodness of nature. Every ingredient used in it, helps in removing thee dead cells and skin impurities. Whenever I use any of these, I love how it brightens and lightens my skin. It has helped me a lot in removing my tanning and has also helped in reducing my pigmentation. It is a great option if you are also facing the same problem.

  2. Yes… I know milk powder is a really good exfoliator . I made one diy face pack yesterday including Besan, Milk powder, Honey, Haldi and Chandan. And just with one use the change was visible. You could give it a try ladies.

    1. This one sounds great. But unfortunately honey does not suits my skin. But I am sure other ladies will definitely love it. 🙂
