My Experience with Dolce & Gabbana Cleansing Oil
I haven’t tried skin care from Dolce Gabbana. This is my first from the brand and I think I would love to explore more from the range. I love cleansing oils. Since I am not much of a salon person, I like to give myself a bit of pampering at home itself. And cleansing oils just work the best for me. Not only the cleanse the skin thoroughly, they also calm your down. Using cleansing oils is a not a rush thing, you have to to forcibly give yourself a minute or a two. I personally love that me time. 🙂
Dolce & Gabbana Cleansing Oil comes packed in this gorgeous matte white and gold pump bottle. Since the surface is matte, so it is very prone to getting dirty. Still I love that pristine white look to it. The pump twists to a lock so you don’t have to worry about spillage.
Just like most cleansing oils, it has a runny gel like texture. You massage it on your skin for a minute and it breaks down the makeup. You could also use it to get rid of eye makeup, esp mascara. Once you have massaged enough, just take a bit of water and to make the product move more easily on the skin. On contact with water, the oil turns milky and liquidy. You rinse it off with warm water after that. I LOVE IT!
This oil works so well in getting rid of every last trace of makeup. I notice that it removes 90% of my most stubborn mascaras and the rest I just remove it with an eye makeup remover. But face makeup, it cleans every last trace of makeup from my skin plus the oil feels so nice on the skin. it’s just the right texture- neither too thin, nor too thick and it moves so gently on the skin. The fragrance is so calming. I mostly like to use it in evening because I feel that the smell of this oil relaxes my senses. It has never irritated my skin or eyes and feels very gentle on the skin. The best, it leaves skin looking and feeling so hydrated, moist and almost baby-like. It does not leave any residue behind and leaves a very clean looking skin. I just follow up with a light moisturiser. If you have oily skin, you might not feel the need to apply moisturiser at all.
Overall, just a brilliant product. My skin absolutely loves it! I use it every other day and it is my favourite thing to use in the evening. It gives me my little ‘me’ time. It contains Gold silk sericin (a protein derived from silkworm cocoon) . Pure luxury 🙂
