My Experience with Dove Intensive Repair Leave-in Conditioning Spray:
The product comes in a plastic see-through spray bottle. The blue cap is very sturdy and it closes tightly making an audible click sound. However, I feel a little difficulty in opening the cap. The plastic nozzle works well in spraying the conditioner on a wider area; 2 sprays are more than enough for my mid-length hair.
The conditioner has 2 layers and you have to shake the bottle well before application. The smell is pleasant and is very similar to the Dove Intense Repair Shampoo. The product can be used on dry as well as wet hair. This spray provides an instant freshness, softness and smoothness to my hair. However, it doesn’t work well in nourishing my damaged hair and I feel the results are just temporary. Also, a regular usage of this spray makes the hair manageable and tangle-free.
The product, when applied close to the roots, makes the scalp oilier. However, it doesn’t weigh down my hair. I also use the product after heat-styling my hair and it works well in protecting the damage caused by the heat. The product adds a nice shine to the hair which lasts for around 2-3 days. It also controls frizz to a great extent. Overall, it’s a good conditioning spray.
