Recently I bought Nivea Mousse Body Wash but 2 weeks with it and I am bored! It was never as I expected so I wanted to go back to using shower creams and gels. Also Dove was on buy one get one free offer during the week I purchased so I bought 2 different variants. So today, I will be reviewing my favorite of the 2; Sweet cream and Peony Body wash.

My Experience with Dove Purely Pampering Sweet Cream & Peony Body Wash:
I have heard a lot about Peony based products and their fragrance on IMBB and when I saw this body wash, I couldn’t stop myself from picking up the bottle and sniffing it! I absolutely loved the smell and without any second thought, I put them in my shopping basket!
The bottle is similar to the other body washes. It comes in a plastic white bottle with a flip cap. The cap is neither too sturdy nor very loose! Even though there is no spillage, I wouldn’t recommend it for travelling. Overall the packaging is satisfactory.
The body wash is white and creamy and not very runny. It lathers really well and is easy to rinse off. The best part of the body wash is the fragrance. The smell makes me feel connected to the bathroom and I do not want to step out of it! It is sweet, flowery, luxurious and rich! The smell stays for long after the shower too; I absolutely love it. The smell of the body lotion subsides due to the smell of this body wash. The fragrance is a huge plus on this product.
The shower is creamy and is easy to apply, it lathers quite quickly. A little product is enough to make the body clean. The body wash is mild and suitable for sensitive skin. After rinsing off the body wash a thin film stays behind which protects your skin from extreme dryness. I have really bad dry skin and with this product even though it is not intended for providing hydration, my body feels moisturized and dryness is prevented to some extent. The body wash makes the skin smooth and soft but it is only temporary. There are no downsides of the product except that it contains SLS. Overall, a good product, meets the claims mentioned and a must have if you love rich fragrances. I wish they also release a body lotion of the same fragrance.
So summing up,

• Not a good option to carry while travelling.
• Contains SLS.
