One of the facial features that I covet the most are “lush, dense eyelashes,” the kind they show in mascara advertisements :P, which albeit I know are fake, but they do appear fascinating. My Experience with Etude House My Lash Serum:
I was really fascinated by this product because I am constantly on the lookout for products that can promote my lash hair growth, which will work as per their claims and will not harm my eyes. When I saw the description and reviews of Etude House My Lash Serum, I immediately added it to my cart and hoped that its description and reviews are genuine.
The product comes in a mascara-like packaging. The tube that holds the product is clear and shows the amount of product it holds. It has a pink cap which has the lash comb/wand and is relatively skinnier than usual mascara wands. It is a generous size tube and looks like the product will last a while so that I can enjoy its potency for a while.
I use it as part of my night-time skin care regime. After I thoroughly remove my eye makeup – cleansing balm followed by a face wash – I apply my eye cream and then as a last step, I apply generous coats of this serum to my lashes. Its consistency is not like a mascara and is rather runny, so I have to be a little cautious while applying or it might run off to my face and since it contains heavy oils, it might cause acne, hence it is important to just stick it to lashes and not allow it to run down.
The wand is skinny and can poke eyes if used in a rush, so I take my time while using it and work my way up from my roots to lash ends and do the same for my lower lashes as well. It gets absorbed into the lash hair fairly quickly.
I have been using it for a month now and although there is no dramatic change in the density of my lashes, they do appear longer and are slightly more noticeable than before, so it is safe to say that they do work.
I love this product. It is an affordable lash serum which seems to be working for me. I do recommend it to all those who want to enhance their lash growth and perhaps eventually hope to discard using fake lashes.
