Hope you are all doing great. I have heard great things about Too Faced Melted Liquid Lipsticks, but I didn’t find any shade that called to me. This perception changed when I placed my eyes on a wonderful purple shade from that range. So today, I am going to review “Too Faced Melted Matte Liquified Long Wear Matte Lipstick“ in the shade “Wine Not?“. So, read on find out whether this is a hit or miss.

My Experience with Too Faced Melted Matte Liquified Long Wear Matte Lipstick Wine Not?:

Packaging: The packaging of this lipstick is unique and nice. It comes in a unique transparent triangular tube with a gold cap. There is also an outer color-coded box which contains the product details and ingredient list. The shade name is present at the bottom of the tube. The standard doe-foot applicator is precise and makes it easy to fill in the lips. The packaging is hefty and luxe and I really love it.

Shades: Too faced offers a huge variety of shades in this collection ranging from nudes to neutrals to vampy colors. There is something for everyone in this line. ”Wine Not?“ is a gorgeous berry purple shade with a slight burgundy undertone. This is a unique shade that will look flattering on all skin tones, but we need some extra courage to pull this shade off.

Formula: The formula of this lippie is amazing and I could say that it is similar to the formula of Kat Von De. The texture and consistency of this liquid lipstick is thinner and runny rather than moussey and thick. It feels extremely lightweight on the lips and one might even forget that you are wearing something on the lips. The dry down time is quick as well and it takes around thirty second to dry completely. The pigmentation is bang on and gives full color in one swipe. They apply well without being streaky or patchy and doesn’t settle into the fine lines of the lips. The formula is neither too drying nor hydrating as well. But, I am quiet happy that it didn’t make me uncomfortable. But, I would say that proper exfoliation is necessary before applying this.

Wear time: This liquid lipstick is mostly transfer-proof. It doesn’t come off on cups or cutlery. Staying power is pretty good. It stays the entire day for more than 8 hours to be precise. It fares well through light snacks and drinks, but after an oily meal, it may start to fade a bit, but still looks like full on color on the lips.

Overall, I love this lipstick especially, the unique shade and the beautiful packaging. The formula is pretty good with amazing pigmentation and an incredible wear time. I am so impressed that I am planning to get some more shades from this line and I recommend this to anyone who is looking for a nice berry purple shade.
