Today’s review will be on a new launch by Faces cosmetics. This lipstick that I am reviewing today is from their “Velvet Matte” range and the shade name is “Day Dream.”

My Experience with Faces Glam On Velvet Matte Lipstick Day Dream:

These lipsticks from Faces Velvet Matte range come in the same packaging as the “Glam On” range, but instead of rectangular body, these are cylindrical-shaped lipsticks. The packaging is black and gold themed. It is simple yet attractive. The lipsticks are easy to travel with and are easy to apply on the lips too.

“Day Dream” is a beautiful combination of orange and soft brown colors. It is a shade that is also kind of difficult to explain. It looks like rust orange under some lights and reddish orange in some.

The pigmentation is good on this lipstick. It glides on super smoothly and is well pigmented. You only need two swipes to achieve an opaque colour on your lips.

The texture of this lipstick is exactly what the name is. It is a velvet matte lipstick. It feels super comfortable on the lips. It is non-drying and you can wear it on for hours and still not need a lip balm. The finish is velvet matte but it settles to a complete matte finish after sometime. This lipstick stays on the lips easily for 4-5 hours. It does settle in between the fine lines of my lips after a couple hours.
