Today I am reviewing an eye liner that I used often this winter, but it’s only now that I realized that this shade wasn’t reviewed previously on IMBB and as they say “Better late than never”, so here I bring the review of Faces Long Wear Eye Pencil in Metallic Plum.

My Experience with Faces Long Wear Eye Pencil Metallic Plum:

This particular eye pencil was an impulse purchase some 3 months back. I have been using it often, but realized it later that it haven’t yet been reviewed on IMBB. The packaging is sleek black colored pencil with color coding on the cap and bottom of the pencil, which makes it easy to recognize this pencil amongst the eye liner stash. The cap shuts tightly, making it convenient for travelling purpose, without spoiling the makeup bag. The name of the shade is self-explanatory for it is a fine plum colored eye liner with minute shimmer in it, which doesn’t feel heavy and doesn’t hurt the eyes.

The texture of this eye pencil is very soft and smooth and easily glides on the eyes, even without tugging on the eyes. It’s super creamy and nicely pigmented. One swipe or two is enough to give a beautiful dash of color. Metallic Plum is much of a night shade. The best part being it’s smudge proof and waterproof. And the bad part is that it’s a normal to-be-sharpened pencil, which causes a lot of product wastage. A normal pencil sharpener can sharpen this eye pencil, but I have already purchased an eye pencil sharpener.

Talking of the stay power, it’s commendable. It stays on for long hours, that of for 4-5 hours. This shade instantly gives sensual looking eyes and is perfect to create a deep smoky eye look. The shade is such that it would suit all skin shades.

Overall, it a nice warm shade and complements ethnic looks as well as western wear. Every girl who loves colored eye pencils must own one shade of this waterproof and smudge proof range of eye pencil.

• A normal cleanser wouldn’t do any good; a nice makeup remover is needed to take off the liner.

Would I repurchase Faces Long Wear Eye Pencil Metallic Plum?

Yes, I’ve already ordered 2 more shades online in spite of its cons. I also highly recommend it to all you ladies who love colored eye pencils.
