Reviewing one more shade from the Ultra Moist range of Faces; Rusty Rose. Read on to know how and why this has become a favorite of mine.

My Experience with Faces Rusty Rose Ultra Moist Lipstick:
The lipstick comes in a shiny black case. The case is safely packed with a black color outer carton, you will find a color coded sticker with the shade name and number on the outer pack also, and I found the sticker really true to the lipstick color. The packaging looks good, but “Faces” really needs to bring a change to the monotonous packaging of its lipsticks.
The texture as the name suggests is moist and smooth. The lipstick glides on like dream without any tugging or pulling. Due to the moist texture of the lipstick, lip balm is not required. There are super fine shimmers in this shade but that does not affect the creamy texture of the lipstick. On the contrary, the lips stay hydrated even after the color fades/vanishes.
Rusty Rose is a unique shade to begin with. A peachy shade with shimmers, which does not show up, but adds to the sheen of the shade. Mostly a day wear this gives a certain kick to the whole makeup look. The shade is subtle and can be worn to day events. I would not say it is apt for the college due to the shimmers.
The staying power of this shade is low compared to the Firetruck and Maroon Plus from the same range. It stayed on my lips for 3 hours maximum after which it starts to fade. Thankfully the shimmers do not travel all over the face, neither they stay back after the shade vanishes. I do not mind touching up the lip color after 3-4 hours as it is creamy and hydrating.
Overall it is a good pick if you are a lipstick lover. Though the shade is not a must have but the uniqueness of the shade makes it worth checking out. I am liking the shade as it is a welcome break from the overflowing fuchsia and red in the market.
