Faces Sparkle Dust in Blue Review

Faces Sparkle Dust in Blue Review

Hi Everyone!!!

Today, I am going to review my first loose color pigment.  I got this amazing eye shadow online. It is available in many colors, but I chose blue because no matter what, blue eye shadows never disappoint me. Since it is the first time I am writing a review of loose eye shadow, I made a mess of my table, my cell phone, my fingers, my books and when I wanted to swatch it, I took so much of it that I ended up wasting it.  Now, leaving my clumsiness aside, let’s come to this gorgeous pigment.

Faces Sparkle Dust in Blue Review

Product Description:

  • Loose color pigment.
  • This highly concentrated, shimmery, pigment loose color pigment is finely milled powder made from mica.
  • Use it alone to dress up your eye or mix with eye primer to achieve a dramatic pop of color that will make heads turn. The versatility of the product allows it to be used alone as highlighter or mixed with your favorite nail polish to create.

Rs. 299 for 3.5 gm.

My Experience with Faces Sparkle Dust in Blue:

This shade is a gorgeous blue-colored pigment with silver shimmer.  I am totally in love with this color. It can be used as an overall lid color or can be combined with black or any other color. It is a perfect party wear eyeshadow because of its shimmer. The shimmer doesn’t look over the top at all. This color is somewhat similar to Inglot Pearl 428 Eyeshadow, with added shimmer.

Sparkle Dust Blue 2

This eye shadow is very pigmented. A single tap gives a proper blue color. To my surprise, there was no fall out at all while applying this on the lids. This pigment has a very smooth texture and blends super easily. The staying power of this pigment is about 3 hours without any primer, and then it starts to fade slowly.  I think this has a decent staying power for a pigment without primer. This pigment can be easily removed with a cleanser.

This pigment comes in a transparent tub with a black screw cap. The transparent packaging helps to locate the color easily. I don’t think it is travel friendly. I took this to my home town once and there was some spillage on the sides, but I guess that’s the problem with all loose pigments.

This is my first EOTD on IMBB. Hope you guys like it.

I have applied a very thin base of black kohl underneath the pigments and I have also blended black eye shadow at crease and outer V.

  • Super smooth texture.
  • Shimmer is not at all gritty.
  • Blends easily.
  • No fall out while applying.
  • Easily available.
  • Decently priced.
  • Lovely packaging.
