Today, I will be reviewing these mini blender sponges from Forever 21. Forever 21 is known to make basic and affordable makeup tools. To know more about this product and how it fared for me, read on 🙂

These mini blender sponges features a color assorted set of blenders in teardrop shape.
My Experience with Forever 21 Mini Blender Sponges:
These mini blender sponges come in a metallic packaging and are housed in a plastic mould. Once the package is torn open, the plastic mould containing the sponges may be pulled out. The price and other information in different languages is printed on the metallic packaging. The mould is not suitable for storing the sponges. Hence, it is not very travel friendly either, and would take up a lot of space for tiny sponges.
The colours of the sponges are very cute. There were two colour sets. This set has lilac, pink, baby blue and mint green. The other set has lime green, sky blue, baby pink and black. I wanted this particular set because I already have a black sponge and the lilac and pink were quite bright and pretty. The sponges are squishy and increase in size when soaked in water. The shape is basic tear drop. One of them was dented slightly because the mould was not smooth.
I had been eyeing these sponges for quite some time, and I finally bought them. The purpose of buying these sponges was to use them to cover certain small blemishes on my face, and not for the whole face. I wanted these for everyday use for hiding redness and dark under-eye circles.
These sponges are of mediocre quality and but still serve my purpose. However, for heavier makeup, I prefer using original Beauty Blender.
These sponges do increase in size considerably. The purple sponge in the picture was soaked and can be compared in size to the other sponges. The lighter coloured sponges get stained quite easily. Moreover, the sponges soak up a significant amount of foundation. However, these do blend well and reach corners of the face. One of the sponges that I had been using regularly developed a tear in it. Overall, these are good, basic sponges. I would not recommend them for heavy, professional or party makeup.
Pros of Forever 21 Mini Blender Sponges:
- Affordable.
- Come in pretty colors.
- These sponges blend foundation well.
- The pointed tip allows for precise application of foundation around corners and crevices of the face.
Cons of Forever 21 Mini Blender Sponges:
- Packaging is not very efficient; a box would have been better.
- The sponges soak up quite a lot of product.
- Need to be washed regularly as foundation is retained in the sponge.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Forever 21 Mini Blender Sponges?
I would recommend these to anyone who is looking for affordable mini sponges. Individually, these sponges may not last long, but in a set, these make for a good purchase. I will not be repurchasing these as I don’t wear makeup very often, hence I don’t need a new set yet.
