My Experience with Garnier Micellar Oil-Infused Cleansing Water with Cornflower Extract:
I find micellar water to be very effective and mild to skin while removing makeup. I use micellar water everyday to remove makeup especially eye makeup. We all know how hard it is to remove the mascara and liner.
The packaging is a plastic bottle with a flap lid. The packaging is made of plastic and is transparent. It’s easy to see the amount of product still available for use. The flap lid is easy to open and close and it is sturdy too. It does not leak and is safe to travel with. But the bottle comes in 400 ml size and hence quite bulky to carry around. I would have preferred a smaller bottle for travel purposes. I would not travel with it as it is quite bulky. The product has floral fragrance which is ok for me.
The consistency is just like that of water. I use a cotton pad and squeeze the product till the pad is wet and then wipe with it all over my face. I dab the pad on both my eyes for a few seconds so that makeup gets softer especially the mascara and eyeliner. Then, I wipe off the makeup with the same pad. The eye makeup is almost completely gone. But, the liner in between the eyelashes takes a few extra wipes. The foundation and other makeup gets wiped off very easily. I also used a makeup wipe after that, but it is almost stain free even after wiping all corners of the face. It shows that the micellar water is very effective in removing makeup.
The product is targeted to sensitive skin and it does not cause dryness after use. I have used it on my breakouts and it does not burn at all. I find it very mild and suitable for acne-prone skin or sensitive skin. I have sensitive skin and have had no problems using it. My skin feels very soft and smooth after use. This product did not cause any redness or irritation for my sensitive skin.
Overall, I like using it for everyday makeup removal as it’s so gentle to the skin.
