Continuing with the Hard Candy Makeup kick that I am on currently, I want to share with you my thoughts on the Hard Candy So Baked Contour Trio in the shade “3rd Wheel.” I really like “baked” makeup products as I feel that makeup brushes pick the correct amount of product because of their dome shape. So, let’s see if this product met my expectations or not.

My Experience with Hard Candy So Baked 3rd Wheel Contouring Face Trio:

Packaging: This Hard Candy baked trio comes in a round compact with the dome-shaped product pan. It does not come with a mirror or brush. It has a silver shiny rim around the top of the lid with beautiful black design which mentions the name of the product and the brand name on it. The compact in which this product is placed is super sturdy and the lid closes with a click sound. It does not come in a box outer packaging, but has a seal on the opening of the lid which assures us that the product has not been messed with. I like the packing a lot as I don’t really care about the brush or mirror and since it’s sturdy enough, it’s travel friendly.

Color and Pigmentation:  The shade “3rd Wheel” has 3 shades in it – luminizer, bronzer and blush. The luminizer is a nice peachy-toned highlight shade with super finely milled shimmer. The blush is a gorgeous pinky peach shade with a golden sheen and the bronzer is a warm-toned bronze-y shade with a sheen. All the three shades are gorgeous and by no means are frosty or shimmery. These three shades when mixed together, add a glow to the face.

Texture: The texture of these powders is extremely soft and smooth. They’re like a buttery finish powder, if you know what I mean. Since it does not have any shimmer in it, the texture is not gritty at all. It offers a beautiful sheen to the face and blends like a dream.

Longevity: The staying power of this baked trio from Hard Candy is average. It does stay on the skin for a good 5 hours, but after that, it starts to fade away like any powder with a sheen will. Since I use it over my powder bronzer, it does fade away after a while, but I am not complaining as all products of this texture and consistency will behave the same. Also, it serves my need well, so I am happy.

Yes!!! Who does not want a glow-y complexion with a subtle highlight and that gives a sun-kissed look to the skin? I would recommend this product to all and I am pretty sure everyone can find out how this product suits them the best as this has 3 beautiful shades to play with.
