HI everyone,

My recent on-the-go brand is Himalaya. I find most of their products within the range of good to wonderful. I’ve been looking for a good night cream which doesn’t have to do me wonders but would condition my skin well enough. Himalaya’s Revitalizing night cream is definitely a hit with me and I would like to recommend it to everyone who might ask me for a good night cream. I have combination to oily skin type. But even then, this cream feels like its tailor-made for me. It’s not at all greasy. Blends smoothly and gets absorbed leaving me with a feeling that my skin was ‘thirsty’ and now had been hydrated properly.
I recommended this cream to my sister, who has combination skin as well. She is also highly satisfied with the product. Even, one of my friends who used this one loves it.
Here is my review of the cream.
- Price : 170 INR
- Weight: 50 gm
- Shelf life: 3 years Approx
I find this to be of particular advantage as I am always up to look for new products in the market. So that,my purchases tend to go up in the cup-board and stay up there for quite some time while I’m trying on something new.

Composition in Himalaya night cream as per the container:
Each gram contains : Exts {Mahanimbu(Citrus grandis),Nimbaka(Citrus Limon), Tamatar(Solanum lycopersicum)} 30mg.Seva(Pyrus malus)30mg,Godhuma(Triticum sativum)20mg,Ksirakakoli(Lilum polyphyllum) 20mg.
Inactives: Phenoxyethanol, Methyparaben, propylparaben
Direction for use: apply on cleansed face and neck each night, when skin is most receptive for repair and renewal. On waking, your skin is soothed.
Himalaya Revitalizing Night Cream

The bottom with all the information you need.
Only a small amount (say pea-size) is enough for your face and neck. Well, I can’t really say on this because it depends on your face type (and of course the size). But I myself need a very small amount.
It’s about a drop only

Blends easily on my hand

Now, the pros and the Cons
Pros of Himalaya Night cream
- I, feel Himalaya is true to their words. The cream doesn’t promise miracles, nor even dark spot reduction. But it indeed, soothes the skin. So, it delivers what it promises. I like this kind of honesty in a brand. It makes them more trustworthy than the promised miracle products.
- It’s not greasy or oily but has a very pleasant texture that goes over like dream.
- The cream itself is not creamy. I would rather describe it as a lotion. It’s more of a fluid than a cream. It’s even softer than Nivea Soft.
- Makes my face soft and smooth a very radiant in the morning. I just love to look at my face on waking up in the morning.
- A little goes a long way. I’ve been using this cream for about a month and not even half of the tub is finished.
The cream on the lid flowed up
Cons of Himalaya Night Cream
- Comes in a tub. This makes you dip your hand in the lotion to take it out which is messy and not that hygienic compared to tubes.
- The tub and the liquid texture becomes messy at times as the cream flows on to the screw lid and I have to take off the cream with my fingers and put it back.
- Might not be the HG product for dry-skinned persons.
Otherwise, I find no problem with this cream and I’m quite satisfied.
Shall I repurchase: of course! I am very impressed with it. 🙂
I was never a night cream user until I started using the lakme one.Night cream do make a difference. I love how my skin looks in the morning. Pores look reduced and texture is smoother. I will give this a try for sure.
