How are you all doing today?
We all want to look and feel beautiful everyday. So, not only our face but even our hands and feet require regular nourishment and care to stay beautiful. I am sure, we all indulge ourselves in various beauty treatments like facials, manicures and pedicures. I get them done once in a while, when there is a special occasion coming up. Otherwise, I usually try out things that can be done at home.
I had not heard of a hot oil manicure until recently, when I read about it on the internet. I was only aware of the traditional way of using water and various creams for manicure. So, I researched about this hot oil manicure. Today, I would be sharing with you all that I could gather about it.
What is Hot Oil Manicure?
Hot oil manicure is best suited for dry, flaky and brittle nails. It is used to clean and soften the dry cuticles as well as nails. If you are looking at nourishing and taking care of your nails, then this manicure is meant for you! This manicure is suitable for even men owing to their hard and dry hands. This manicure falls in the luxury and relaxing range and is a bit more expensive than the basic manicure.
Different kind of oils can be used, like mineral oil, olive oil and the various commercial oil. The oil is heated in an electric heater, before the manicure. The manicure remains same as the basic one until the point, when you dip your hands in water.
Instead of water, you soak your hands in warm oil and the technician would massage your hand with the oil. He or she will massage your hand, wrists as well as cuticles. This will leave your skin and nails soft and nourished. After the massage, they will clean your hands with warm damp towels. This is the last step to be followed in the manicure.
Recipe Of The Oil To Be Used:
- Olive Oil.
- Castor Oil.
- Sunflower Oil.
- Vitamin E capsules.
- Almond Oil.
- Tea Tree Oil.
Mix all the ingredients and heat it in a microwave or use double boiling method for 30 seconds. Make sure the oil is not too hot. Now, dip your hands in the mixture, till it has completely cooled down. Massage your hands and wrists gently including your finger nails. Then, wipe off the oil using warm towel. This oil treatment would be the last step after following all the steps of basic manicure.

So friends, you can easily follow this method twice a week before going to bed at night and wake up to beautiful, soft and subtle hands.
