I have another Jessica Nail Paint colour for you, since I am in the festivities mood, the colour will follow through with the same theme. I hope you enjoy it!
This stunning duo of rust and chrome glitter gives a sparkly foil finish that’s full of texture.
My Experience with Jessica Custom Nail Colour – Ginger Snap 736:
The packaging of this nail colour is very simple and classic, like I have said previously it is similar to OPI. I wish, the packaging was a bit more luxurious looking for the brand I am purchasing, but I guess it must be a planned strategy for low operation costs maybe (woops! Sorry, too much of Strategy Management references I have been making, college takes over your life sometimes, haha).
The brush applicator is great, I would not suggest it is flat as such, but it is great for a seamless application; especially if you are new to applying nail polishes, it sits in my hand perfectly and I am able to manoeuvre it as per my wish.
Okay, so let’s get straight to the color – the color is a very pretty coppery colour with shimmer. I would say it lives up to its name, since ginger is of the same sort of colour. Let me warn you though, it looks much different online as it would look in person. Online it looks like it has a bit of a yellow undertone to it, but that’s far from it. Having said that, it is a gorgeous colour and looks absolutely lovely on the hands. Unfortunately, I would say, it would not flatter dark skinned beauties as much. But no one has to follow the conventional rules, if you feel like applying it, go right ahead with it.
The formula for this nail lacquer is of a great consistency, it does not feel heavy upon application. You might think it might be heavy and thick, due to the abundance of glitter in it, but trust me, it is not. The glitter is blended well into the formula and it is of a good, really good quality, so you will not face any difficulties. The shimmer in the formula looks absolutely gorgeous under the sun, because the sun rays reflect it beautifully. Moreover, it looks ravishing in the night on your hands, because of the sparkles in the formula. How great is that? It surely will stand out on your hands, and be an active participant in finishing your outfit for the night. This colour would look gorgeous with your Indian ethnic wear for Diwali! Imagine wearing your red colour anarkalis or ghagras with this pretty colour. I surely will wear it on Diwali night. The colour goes on absolutely opaque with just one application, due to its pigmentation. I would however suggest to wear at least two coats, for the best results.
As for the staying power, like Essie, this colour too has an amazing staying power. I never seem to apply any top coat and it has never chipped; such is the quality of Jessica. This colour is great for Diwali, even for fall and it is perfect for some nail art.
