Fight acne and achieve radiant looking flawless skin with the Kaya Advanced Acne Care Kit. The ultimate acne-care solution from Kaya helps in combatting acne with 4 easy steps that can be incorporated in your daily skin-care routine. Developed by Kaya dermatologists, The Advanced Acne Care Kit will help you achieve spotless, blemish-free skin.
⦁ Purifying Cleanser: Salicylic Acid cleanses pores and prevents pimples while an Olive Oil derivative helps in conditioning skin and removing residue.
⦁ Purifying Toner: Non-alcoholic formula enriched with Mandelic Acid gently tones and exfoliates skin, while Niacinamide helps clear blemishes.
⦁ Spot Corrector: While Zinc Sulphate tightens skin and accelerates healing, Salicylic acid & Glycolic acid reduces the size of the acne.
⦁ Nourisher: Sodium PCA makes skin soft and supple. Gentle formula clinically tested for non-comedogenicity & hypoallergenicity.
My Experience with Kaya Advanced Acne Care Kit:
I had a lot of acne, that too cystic acne. It was a never-ending story. A new one would show up as soon as one went down. I tried every home remedy and then came across this acne kit.
After reading the ingredient list, I decided to give it a chance as I had nothing to lose.
Kaya Purifying Cleanser
It contains salicylic acid, which is popular for acne treatment. Also, it has olive oil so that your skin does not lose moisture because of the acid. Even though my acne is gone I still use this cleanser as it takes the dirt out and keeps skin clean. I generally use it during night time for proper cleansing. Do not expect a nice smell from this face wash; in fact, it smells medicinal to me but I am happy as long as it is helping me with my acne.
Kaya Purifying Toner
This is my favorite product from the entire kit. I cannot describe how good it is. I am already done with the bottle even though have reached just half of other bottles. In fact, I have already ordered a new bottle as my backup.
This is an amazing toner. I use it twice a day with a cotton pad or you can also spray it directly on the face (Which I do when I am travelling). It gives a tingling feeling after use. You can see a healthy shine -and not oiliness – on the face. It also tightens your pores, which are required after face wash.
The two main ingredients in this toner are:
⦁ Mandelic Acid: which is known to remove dead skin and tighten the pores to give a youthful look.
⦁ Niacinamide: it is a form of vitamin B3 which helps with large pores and also heals acne.
If you have oily to combination skin, I would definitely suggest this toner even if you are not facing acne.
Kaya Purifying Nourisher
This is a lightweight moisturizer (gel-based), which instantly gets absorbed into the skin and does not clog the pores. It contains aloe vera, almond oil and rose extracts to soothe the skin. This smells like a medicine (a very light smell which disappears quickly). I use it during daytime before applying my sunscreen.
Earlier, I used to skip my moisturizer since my skin is oily but during my acne phase, I came to know that even oily skin needs a moisturizer. Lack of moisturizer is also one of the reasons for acne because your skin starts producing excess sebum.
For treating acne, we use a lot of harsh products so a moisturizer is required to soothe and calm the skin. This is my 2nd favorite product from the kit, because it gets absorbed very quickly and is super lightweight.
Earlier, I have also tried aloe vera gel and have replaced my moisturizer with it. Till now I have tried many moisturizers (including high-end brands) but haven’t come across such an amazing lightweight moisturizer. It is best for oily skin because it provides the right amount of hydration. People with dry skin might not like it, though.
Kaya Purifying Spot Corrector
The last product in this kit is the spot corrector. It comes with a sponge brush tip. Even though it contains all the necessary and good ingredients to reduce acne, like zinc sulphate, salicylic acid and glycolic acid, still I didn’t find it very helpful.
It is very harsh on my skin and I personally did not find any change in my acne size even after using it for 3 consecutive days on the same acne spot. Instead, spot treatment with tea tree oil was a better option for me. This is the only product from the entire kit that I didn’t find useful.
Pros of Kaya Advanced Acne Care Kit:
⦁ Reduce acne when used regularly.
⦁ Best for oily skin.
⦁ Helps maintain the skin texture.
⦁ Packaging is good.
Cons of Kaya Advanced Acne Care Kit:
⦁ Spot corrector is not useful.
⦁ Medicinal smell.
⦁ Takes time to show results.
IMBB Rating: 4/5
Will I Repurchase Kaya Advanced Acne Care Kit?
I might buy the products individually but not the entire kit since the spot corrector did nothing for my skin.
I liked the product and people suffering from acne may give it a try. It can be used to prevent future acne breakouts too.
