Khadi Skin Essential Moisturizer Review

This is the first review of 2015 that I’m writing. Yay! So, I did a mini Khadi haul and got my hands on some of their newly-launched Khadi Premium products. Read on to know how this one fared for me.

Product Description:

Skin Essential Moisturizer contains a high concentration of pure Aloe leaf juice, Tulsi, Chamomile and Green Apple used as a natural remedy to keep the skin supple, soothe, soften, moisturize and heal even the most sensitive skin. It has an astringent and toning effect to nourish the damaged skin.  For best results, massage gently into skin after your morning shower and again at night or as needed. Can be used on face, body and hands.  Free of paraben and chemicals.

Price:

Rs. 120 for 100 ml.

Active Ingredients:

Aloe Vera (Leaf Juice), grape seed oil, sweet almond oil, rosehip oil, chamomile extract, green apple extract, calendula oil, glycerin, water, bees wax.

My Experience with Khadi Skin Essential Moisturizer:

Let’s start with the packaging. It is very different from the other Khadi products with the usual cheap plastic and flimsy caps. This one is more refined and travel friendly. It is a small square-shaped bottle with a twist up cap; it does not have the flip cap. The bottle is quite sturdy in my opinion and will make a good muse for travelling and will not take up much space in your bag because of its small size.

Now coming to the moisturizer, the smell is divine. It smells of fruity green apples and is absolutely mesmerizing. It is overpowering so people with sensitive nose will not have to face much.  The texture is creamy but not too thick. It spreads evenly and gets absorbed into the skin in no time. The after effects are great as well. It feels light on the skin and does give out an unpleasant oily sheen.

It moisturizes really well and Khadi does live up to all its claims. The skin starts feeling soft and supple right after a few days of application. I have had good experience with Khadi moisturizers and this one does not disappoint as well.

• Does not feel heavy on the skin and gets absorbed within seconds.

Cons of Khadi Skin Essential Moisturizer:

• Cannot control the amount of product due to the open mouth bottle.
• Some may not like the green apple fragrance.

Would I Recommend Khadi Skin Essential Moisturizer?

In my opinion, this one is a drool worthy product from Khadi because of the presence of active natural ingredients and the superior quality moisturizing properties. Go for it, you will not regret.
