I recently bought some products from Kiko, mainly lipsticks. Today’s review is all about Kiko Milano 06 Blackberry Creamy Lipstick. Read on to know more.

My Experience with Kiko Milano Creamy Lipstick 06 Blackberry:

The lipstick comes in a black cardboard packaging. There is some information on the box. Inside the package is the lipstick. The lipstick is completely black in color and is glossy from top to bottom. The number and name of the shade are also there on the product. Other than that, there is no information on the product. The black cap closes with a click. The twist up lipstick packaging is easy to use.

The cap doesn’t open on its own and thus, it is travel-friendly. There are 6 shades available in the range. The lipstick smells fruity but the scent doesn’t stay for long. The sharply shaped bullet makes it easy to apply over the lips. It is extremely smooth and creamy. It glides like a dream and the color is evenly distributed over the lips. It doesn’t tug or pull on the lips. One swipe and the color get well deposited on the lips.

The color doesn’t enhance the dryness of the lips, which is a plus. I have very dry lips and the lipstick doesn’t make the lips drier. However, I would always prefer to apply the lipstick over well moisturized lips for an even application. The shade is a magenta wine shade and it complements any skin tone perfectly. I always use plum shades as they suit my olive skin tone perfectly.

The finish is a bit glossy but you can turn into a matte shade with some mattifier or with some loose powder. The shade is super pigmented and with one swipe you get a good color pay off, which is great. The color covers all pigmentation very well. You can layer up the lipstick for a vampy look. You do not feel anything on the lips and the formula is lightweight. The color pay-off wins my heart.

The lipstick bring creamy has a tendency to transfer; I usually end up with some product on my chin when I eat fruits! Since it is brightly pigmented, the color deposit is easily noticed. The lipstick doesn’t bleed and it says intact. I prevent the transfer by dabbing some powder and reapplying the lipstick. This almost reduces the transfer.

The lipstick stays for around 4-6 hours on my lips, with or without a primer. After fading, it leaves a stain, which is good, and makes my lips look naturally pink. The product is also waterproof and withstands the rain without any issue. I absolutely love the color and its quality. This was the first product I tried from this range and I just cannot wait to pick up a few more.
