Hi lovely readers,
This product is part of an online haul – I purchased a bunch of cosmetics online including 6 mono shadows from Kleancolor, but out of those 6, only two performed, and the rest, I had to toss out because of poor pigmentation and unsatisfactory performance. The shade in this post is the one I chose to keep. Read on further to know about this product.
KleanColor proudly presents wide array of shades with all time pigment-rich American Eyecon Wet/Dry Baked Shadow. The intensity of color can satisfy any color junkies’ ultimate craving. Try it on and fall for its beauty result of irresistible pigments that blends easily and lasts.
My Take on Kleancolor Mint American Eyecon Wet/Dry Baked Eyeshadow:
Packaging: The product is baked in a convex form in a plastic case and has a clear plastic lid. I will be honest, the packaging appears cheap and is very fragile – not impressive, but that’s the only downside.
Texture: It is a baked eyeshadow set in plastic case and has a very smooth texture, and it’s easy to apply. This shade has intense shimmer and that’s what made it easy to apply and pack on the eye lids, but that also means that it has a lot of fall out. Nevertheless, the texture is smooth and blends so easily and adds an extra pop to the eyes.
Color: It is a very unique color – mint color with silver undertones. It might not sound appealing but looks so pretty, and that’s evident from the swatch. It looks particularly pretty with ethnic dresses or when used with dark shadow in the background.
Pigmentation: It has very good pigmentation. I gently swiped my finger tips on the shadow to take a picture and was delightfully amazed to see the color my finger tips picked up. It is a dry/wet shadow and can be used either way, but it gives a better wear time if applied with a damp brush.
Application: I used it on my lids and on my brow bone on separate occasions, and it looked pretty either way. It smudges a little, so it is better to use with a damp brush and increase color intensity and wear time.
Staying Power: 5-6 hours after which it starts to crease. You can increase the wear time if one uses primer or white eye shadow underneath.
This is a very good shadow for the money you pay. I bought 6 shadows from this brand and all of them are unique shades but only two of them performed well – mint shade being one of the two shades. I prefer palettes since they occupy less space, but the colors were so irresistible that I had to try out these shadows.
