Korres Wild Rose Mineral Foundation Review

Hi Dolls,

As the craze for mineral makeup has hit the market, I did try a few, like Bare Minerals and TBS Extra Virgin Minerals.  Read on to find out whether this one was better, same or worst than the above-mentioned ones.

Product Description:

What it is

A 100 percent natural, SPF 30 brightening mineral foundation.

What it Does:

This talc-free, loose powder foundation contains brightening Wild Rose extract. Its texture allows skin to breathe, and its healing formula helps to reduce lines and wrinkles while repairing uneven skin tone.

Korres Mineral Foundation 1

  • Wild Rose Extract: Repairs fine lines and wrinkles, and improves uneven pigmentation as a potent source of Vitamin C.

My Experience with Korres Wild Rose Mineral Foundation:

I trust Korres as a brand and highly appreciate the parameters which they follow while making any product, be it skin care or makeup. I have managed to try their skin care range, but was not so sure about the makeup, but I am so happy that it surpassed my expectations and passed my tedious test with great marks.

An amazing product!!! This foundation is way better than Bare Minerals and TBS ones. I found the mentioned ones a bit too chalky and not good for my combination skin as they tend to slide down my face after 3-4 hours.  This one has better pigmentation, gives sun protection, blends more easily, gives natural satin finish, stays put the entire day with only one touch-up required. Yes, that’s just amazing, I never found a mineral foundation so long wearing.  At the end of the day, I am happy with the results of this foundation.

Korres Mineral Foundation 3

I can easily say it is heaven-sent for irritated and acne-prone skin as it also heals the skin while providing full buildable coverage. I did get a few pimples, thanks to my binging sessions during our long glorious festive season and to my surprise the redness was gone in the very first day of application. It also claims to dim fine lines, wrinkles and even out skin tone, but I havn’t noticed any of that as of now. I can surely say that it feels very light and is a very fine foundation that can easily give full coverage if layered. I also love the fact that it has SPF 30, which is quite a nice factor of sun protection and makes my morning routine simpler.

Korres Mineral Foundation 6

Oily, combination and normal skin will love the effects of this lightweight mineral foundation, but drier skin might have some trouble with the foundation settling into the dry patches.

The shade swatch has a white cast due to the high sun protection in the foundation.

Pros of Korres Wild Rose Mineral Foundation:

  • Natural satin finish.
  • 100% natural.
  • Stays put for 8 hours.
  • Buildable to full coverage.
  • High SPF 30.
  • Heals acne prone and irritated skin.
  • Good for facial skin.
  • Mild brightening effect.
  • Feels feather light on the skin.
  • Good for oily/combination skin.
  • No parabens and other harmful chemicals.
  • Talc free.
  • Main ingredients includes wild rose extract, rich source of Vitamin C.
  • Amazing pigmentation, little goes a long way.
  • Far better than other branded mineral foundations.

This is how it looks, at the end of a chaotic day.

Cons of Korres Wild Rose Mineral Foundation:

  • Comes with a funny sponge applicator.

IMBB Rating:

Will I Repurchase Korres Wild Rose Mineral Foundation?

Yes, for sure!!!! I have been using it every single day now, it has quickly become my favorite and I reach for it all the time and every time as I wanted an amazing, natural mineral foundation for a long time and finally my search has ended. Get your Kabuki brushes girls and try this one out for sure.  This is not to be missed, especially in a country like ours where our skin suffers every day, this one is a must have.
