Skin Tone – Fair to medium
I was super attracted to some lip tars from brand OCC and later I spotted these gorgeous lip paints from L.A. Girl. I picked up 2 totally different shades; one is Bombshell and the other one, Peony. These are perfect dupes of “Too Faced Melted Liquid Lipsticks” and this one is the close match for the shade “Fuchsia” from the range! So want to save a few bucks? Then read the review…

My Experience with L.A. Girl Bombshell Glazed Lip Paint:
Packaging: The lip paints look utterly cute because they look super attractive together if you have a few shades. The lip paint comes in a small tube with a gold cap and bright pink packaging. It has gold and black fonts over it which make it look really pretty. The tubes are colour coded, so it is very convenient to spot these. These are super handy and can be easily carried around in a clutch, hand-bag or even pocket. The applicator has a slant tip which makes the application very easy and precise. It pumps out the needed quantity only. And the price is just too great; at this price, they are a complete steal.
Shade: The shade “Bomshell” actually makes me look like a bombshell the moment I apply it. It is a bright pink colour with a lot of fuchsia hints which makes it a perfect blend of fuchsia and bright pink. It is one of those “too hot to handle” shades. It can rightly be called ‘eye candy’ since this shade would grab a lot of eyeballs. This shade is for those women love wearing bold shades. It is bright, bold and fun at the same time. It has menthol which gives my lips a tingling sensation which makes them appear fuller. It instantly makes my lips pop and brightens up my complexion. This shade will suit all skin-tones but not those will yellow undertones since it might look a bit weird. The colour stays perfectly bold throughout.
Consistency, pigmentation and finish: The lip paints have a very creamy consistency and I could actually call it liquid lipsticks. They are extremely creamy but very runny too at the same time. Hence I need to be really careful while squeezing it for application. It is thick on the lips, exactly like lip paint. The pigmentation is just incredible. The colour pay-off is super intense and every colour has its own uniqueness. It does not lose its intensity no matter what I eat. Even the stain is super bright. The finish is glossy and creamy at the same time. It has a dazzling shine which makes my lips pop. It dries out the lips a bit after the paint goes off.
Staying power: The lip paint stays on my lips for 4-5 hours. Initially for an hour the glossiness stays as it is. After meals, the liquid part goes off my lips converting the lip paint into a stain. It does not settle in fine lines nor does it bleed. But it might cling to dry patches after it converts into a stain. The stain stays till the time you remove it and a good make-up remover is needed to remove it completely. Overall, a really good one if you like glossy stuff!
