This is the fifth shade in my stash from the new “Primer + Matte” range from Lakme. So far, I am very happy with the shades that I have picked up (Scarlet Surge, Maroon Mix, Crimson Cue, Brick Blush, and Ruby Rush). All the shades have some red or coral tone to them, but they do have browns in this range too. There are not many plums in the new 10 shades in this range, but still, I am eyeing the “Plum Pick” shade.

My Experience with Lakme 9 to 5 Primer + Matte Lipstick Brick Blush:
Again, I find the packaging quite nice to use. The shade selection in Lakme’s Primer + Matte range is so amazing. There is so much to choose from.
“Brick Blush” is a shade that I did not find to be very matte. It feels slightly infused with moisture and even the opacity is not as deep as the other shades. I find the need to build it up. So if you have dry lips, this is not much a pure matte.
“Brick Blush” is a gorgeous muted orange color with some brick tone to it, and this is perfect for warm skin tones. This feels supple and settles to semi matte texture on me. I love how it looks with any eye makeup.
The color is meant for brick lipstick lovers with the advantage of this shade being safe enough to be worn any time. The lipstick is smooth and creamy but I do wish it was very matte and very opaque.
Pros of Lakme 9 to 5 Primer + Matte Lipstick Brick Blush:

- I wish it was more matte and opaque.

Would I Recommend Lakme 9 to 5 Primer + Matte Lipstick Brick Blush?
Yes, I think I will. I will be buying Berry base and Plum Pick next. I recommend all you lipstick lovers to have a swatch fest at the counter since there are so many shades to choose from. I am sure you will fall for one or more colors.
